Bought it from a guy who had another car just like Ted Nugent's. We took that car out on such a wild night... don't even remember... the car must have gotten out of control, but we all made it.
I love Turtle Lake and so I decided to run for Council. We need to take back this town.

|Comments:||Hey Turtle Lake!
Just stopped into say hey & what a great place Turtle Lake is :) I am now 47 & living in NM but spent many a summer visiting my Uncle Sonny & Aunt Phyllis Nordwall during my youth. Those were some of best times of my life. Uncle Sonny owned Nordwall's Western Shop & as a kid I really looked forward hanging out & catching up on all the local gossip & playing with all the cool stuff in the shop.As kid's my brother & I had to pitch our sleeping bags at Uncle Sonny's shop... we had a great time... I remember putting on some of the western ware & chase-in each other around the shop with CATTLE PRODS... we got a pretty good JOLT out of it, but had a good time. We sure do miss Sonny & Phyllis & the good times we had in Turtle Lake, but we will always hold those fine memories close to our hearts.
Thank's Turtle Lake & Keep- On- A- Trucking!

|Comments:||So, here's the thing. When you go to sign the guestbook there is a little *NOTICE* above where you sign in. In this notice it asks that you do not use this guestbook as a communication medium and then goes on to say that if you do sign in as anything other than a "well intentioned" guest that your IP address will be banned from using the guestbook.
Sadly enough, every now and then someone tries to throw in a link to sell stuff or get you to go on a porno site. I tend to catch these entries almost immediately and am able to dispose of them before they are viewed.
Yesterday I caught one that concerned me. It wasn't porno or trying to sell something...it was a very pointed, very disturbing entry that was intended to do nothing but hurt someone else. If it was a joke, it went to far. If it wasn't a joke then I would suggest that the coward that wrote it and signed no name (Jack the Ripper? wow, how original) should email the target personally rather than use a public guestbook. In the entry the author suggested the target should "grow up". That was cute considering the one that needs to grow up is obviously the one that wrote it.
To everyone else, please continue to sign the guestbook. We appreciate everyone out there.

Does the town council have any ideas what kind of businesses are needed in Turtle Lake and what kind of businesses would be suitable for that building? Nice job on the Web site. Would like to make a suggestion and inquire as to how we can participate:
- Not much on farming/ranching - our local culture. Would like to discuss how we can add some links and local info on at least local horse ranching (our area of expertise).
- We also have local properties for sale and rent. Would like the town home page to include our available properties as well. (We also have seasonal hunting rentals)
- In addition to Lone Pine Ranch, we also would like to promote Lone Pine Foundation - a non-profit charity to help abused and neglected children realize that their dreams can come true too!
Look forward to discussing how we can help add to what is a great "home town" site!

You have a very nice website. I am learning all I can about the Turtle Lake area as I have been doing quite a bit of genealogy study. I have been up there once already doing research. I had relatives that lived up there near the old Ingersoll schoolhouse. Many relatives are buried in the nearby Veeder Cemetery. My relatives are the Nordquists. A few of the Nordquist girls married Tweeten men and supposedly live in the area still with their families. If I were to do research up there in the summertime is there much available to rent for a week or so? Thanks!
