This was a great idea! I saw several people I remember. I
am currently in Japan, working on marketing foods
responsible for a $200 million US business here. After
leaving Japan in 1978, I spend 4 years in Indonesia, then
went to a university in the USA (same one as Marcy). While
in the USA I became a firefighter/ambulance & rescue
attendant, and rose to the rank of Commander. After
graduation I returned to Japan - where I have been ever
since. Still single, and keeping busy every day. Besides
work I teach at Japanese universities, teach at the Tokyo
Fire Academy, and maintain a motorcycle "fleet" of 12

and joined the Royal Netherlands Army to become a logistics
officer and untill today I still am with lots of pleasure
and besides that it allows me to practise lots of sports.
I maintained contact with Peter and Erik van der Poel.
Through them from I met some others at a party ( somehow
the name of Ellen Braaksma pops up)
I wonder where I left My yearbook but let's see, I remember
a lot, for example: my other Dutch classmates Tjardo
Braaksma, Patrick Smulders and Harold Meij(still into
astronomy?),school basketbalteam with Trent, David Hyde,
his father as coach, my Dutch pals, David Hunt, and who
else?, a fieldtrip to Minami Zao, a skitrip to ..I forgot!
but somehow Kim Waugh's name pops up I wonder why?, arts
and craft's Mr Stellarc( what happened to your mechanical
hand?), PE teacher Mr. Matsumoto, Music by Mr Becker, Mr
Tanner and his son Nicholas, Mr. and Mrs. Rideout?, YCAC
and the swimmingteam The Sailfish. I could come up with
much, much more but if anyone wants to share some more
