Most of my memories are centered around the swim and soccer teams. I spent most of my free time at swim practice at the YCAC(country club)and did not socialize too much with my schoolmates.
We moved to the states (Bay Area) in 1980(middle of my fifth grade)when my father retired from JAL.
I've worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last twelve years. Life is good!! Need to slow down and throw away the company pager!!

Im living near London now as I have been for the past 8 years or so. I got married in July 2000 and my wife Nicole has been consistently telling me we will move to Australia soon. Anyway, its good to see some old familiar names. I was there from 1974-1982, leaving after Dennis Stanworth's year. I had some magic times with you all and miss them lots.
My life became even better last May when we had our first child, Aston James. He is a great joy and I think he will play cricket and rugby for England (Dad's dreams, maybe!!!). Anyway, it would be good to hear from old pals, and Mason - you missed me off the list! Apologies accepted.

fantastic. I can hardly believe that I have finally been
able to re-establish contact with the YIS fraternity after
such a long time. Anyway, for those of you who remember, I
was the self-righteous and ever so moral English girl,
committed vegetarian and sports fanatic. Well, I am still
both of those things and more. After YIS, I returned to the
UK and then moved to Australia with my family (great part
of the world by the way). I have lived in Australia ever
since apart from several years of working and travelling in
Asia and Europe. Did a BA (Hons) in Political Science at
Melbourne University and a Post Graduate Degree in Tourism.
Worked as an English Langauage Teacher, Tourism Officer
amongst other things and now find myself working for the
Australian Federal Government with a side line passion for
writing and judo!
Would love to hear from anyone from the Class of '87. It
has been a long time but I kept in contact with Natsuko and

Well, my life is going fine. I live in France since more

YIS Alumni homepage several times, but never actually
contributed anything to it. It's about time, so here goes...
After graduating from Penn, I came back to Japan to go to
med school at Tokai Univ..I did my 2 years of internship
but after that, decided to change course and do a PhD
program in DNA biology. So here I am, a prime example of a
perpetual student. I'm still single (any offers?)and live
in Isehara(near Atsugi).
Oh, and about 2 weeks ago, I visited YIS with several
classmates, for the first time since I graduated!It really
looks good now with a new gate, new buildings and
