Message:Hey YIS!!

It's always so much fun to come back to this site and see all the names I've missed for 11 years (yikes!!). Jigal, you're the man, I still laugh whenever you pop into my head.

Okay, so here's my update: I'm a thrid year student in medical school now (in the US medical school starts after university), training to be a neurologist or neurosurgeon probably. It's so much fun, I love it, but I'm definitely starting to think that it would be good to finish school...

I've met up with Yuko twice in the past year. She was living in New York and I randomly met her at a comedy club one night. She was looking at me, and I KNEW that I knew her, but the idea that she could be from my years in Japan seemed crazy. As I was walking out she called "Gary!", and I looked again and realized, "Yuko?". It was so cool. Anyway, I guess she moved back to Japan now though, so I'm not in touch with anyone else anymore. Yuko said that Jin and Yoh are in town though...if you guys see this, email me!

Okay, feel free to write anytime!

Message:Dear All,
Well, the last time I wrote was on the 19th of June and since I don't have a weblog I will give you the info. First of all, I am ashamed to admit it, but I too have graduated. I loved the student life but now I have to be a grown up. So, I am working fultime at the studio in Amsterdam trying to get some animation work in. Basically nothing has changed from being a newspaper salesman on the street, just a different product. Of course there is gossip, I know you are wondering what. A while ago I heard that the Yamate church burned down with a priest still in it. Well guess what, that was a guy from YIS, a couple of grades below us. I haven't double checked my sources so please don't take me up on this.

For memory sake, I am really wondering what ever happened to; Sei, don't think you ever wrote on this page. To Gil, don't know what happened to him either. After YIS I stayed in Israel for a year but didn't see him. Spoken to Mayuko about a reunion football match a few months ago. Spoken to James and Jenn. James had a motorcycle accident, but he is still alive. Jenn is giving birth to a little babygirl, forgot the name... think it was Lilly. Was a bit drunk when I spoke to her on the phone. But I'll be going to England and smoke a cigar with her. Haven't heard anything from Alex, although I know she has a boyfriend...well that's probably the reason why I haven't heard from her. I am really wondering how Yuko is doing. Shame you people don't use a dutch program called hyves. If you are interested it's pretty cool, www.hyves.nl And ofcourse Giulio, he must be running some impressive mobster unit or maybe a hotel called The godfather Inn. Don't know anything about Matt Nylon, I am sure he picked up smoking after he left home and stopped running but on the other hand he might actually surprise us. I think it was Miho who got married and I wrote a little something for her but that's been a while ago. Only know that Jennifer's birthday is on the 8th of december.

So, as you've might have guessed I am clueless to what has become of you all. The only thing I know is that Seijo is in the newspaper and Matt C. is trying to reach him. Well Matt, I have tried three e-mail accounts now and the only one that sticks is the samuraiking thing but I haven't heard anything yet.

Oh, and there might be a chance that I will be going to Japan around New Years, will there be people there to drink a little something with?

Take care,
Jigal

Hope you all have a good christmas and for Ajay (don't mind the spelling) and Hadj (the small man in 8th grade?) happy something else, for Gil and Gal happy Chanukah. Did I miss out a religion? By the way, Seijo, did you get caught in North Korea cuz I haven't heard from you for a while. Matt, guess what I just found that sesamestreet cd, I think you gave it in 8th grade. Now they have a curry option this week in a canteen. Another thing homeroom, they do that now from a videoroom in the building. I counted the amount of teachers in middle/high school, 42 teachers. Suppose the financial dip is over. All the fights about who is going to sit next to the fan, or steal one from the other classroom is probably history now.

I recently went to Canada on holiday with Phil Patient

Well 9 years later after a rekindled romance in London and in the Rockies in Canada he asked me to marry him and I said yes so we are engaged!!!!!!! It was all very romantic and wonderful and lovely and I am still not really back in reality at the moment, just floating around on the champagne bubbles!

What's happenin'?? How's life for all you quarter-life crisis peeps! Can you believe we're already 23, 24, even 25?? What scares me is that our 10 year reunion is in 4 years! that's a trip!

Anyways, I've been doing pretty good. After graduating from the Univ. of Washington in March, I've been doing alot of travelling. Backpacking in Europe alone.. met up with Heidi, Alex P., and Sean in London and somehow ended up on the streets of Soho one night. Took the bus and hit up Amsterdam, Belgium, Berlin, and flew to Ibiza. I've also been travelling within the US to NYC, LA, Vegas, and Hawaii. Now I'm back in Japan and it sure feels good to be home. I probably won't work til next year.. so in the meantime, I'm focusing my attention on doing what I do best.. music!!

I will be travelling around the U.S. again in November, then will be in Japan til around December/January so if you're in town, holla back! Hope all is going well for you guys and can't wait to see you soon. Peace n Love!!

Working for General Electric is a thing of the past. When the contract renewal came around, GE asked for way too much money to support Nissan's operations. I'm now working for Premier System Integrators based in Nashville. Its nice to work for a smaller company, GE sucked(they were more concerned about dollar signs than their employees).

Well, enough of that crap... about three weeks ago there was a magnificent music festival in Manchester,Tn(about a 15 minute walk from my home). Check out www.bonnaroo.com for details. All I have to say about it is... you should all go! This was the second year they've put it together. I think they're planning to make it a yearly event.

Keep in touch, and keep posting!(except for you spammers, you suck)

Message:Yusuke-kun...your problem is not that you are 24 and still virgin. The essential problem is you are 24, still virgin, and you have become an adult and at the same time harming your youthful days with such negative complex. Has anybody told you that you have a dark character? Don't you sometimes get envious when you see a friend that looks "better" than you? Do you become perverse by saying, "just because it's me..." and making it as a fault of being virgin? (sorry that was just a bias)
Anyway, what's the age standard of a first experience? If you replace that to females, it's much easier. If you had your first experience at the age of 14, then people will think it's indecent since that is considered unlawful in the society yeah? Ok, if you are 34, and still virgin, then there are some people who might say, "you got a problem?" you know? Don't you think that's a bit strange? Why can't you do "whenever-age" you feel is right? The message that I have is just ignore what society tells you. But if you are still distressed with the fact that you are virgin, you have two options. 1.Go to the brothel 2.Challenge the Guinness Book Of World Records for not kissing anybody for the longest time (if you are against such entertainment, get in love)
Before worrying with the virgin subject, have you desperately searched for love before? Probably not...if so what you need to be thinking about first is to search for love(that includes unrequited love). If you truly worry about love, then you will see that being a virgin is just a petty thing. If you can't do that, challenge the Guinness Book! However, don't forget there are tons of virgins who are challenging that record and it isn't an easy way. Rather than challenging the Guinness, probably it's better to be in love and have sex. Oh yeah, I recommend this to every men to be in love before 30. When you get in love at the age of 30 for the first time, you have a tendency to be hooked up with the woman and unable to think about other things. Well, that isn't a bad thing though...

Also, it's a little misleading to say that I hated Yusuke. Although, I'm pretty sure Yusuke would never forget the continual hazing he faced from the rest of the members. Loads of eraser crums were thrown at him and Ajay teased him by calling him Yusuck. We taunted and harrassed him and made him feel not a part of our member at all. But look where Yusuke is now? We eventually turned him into a very very strong individual. He just stood up to all the pressure that we heaped upon him and now we all take him as a family. My philosophy always works out!

Message:Seijo Ishii is a criminal now!!! Got convicted of trespassing at the ground of Twin Falls Highschool
I represented myself and payed $163 for the fine. Luckily, I did not get a probation. Most likely, I would be criticized with the name "Seijo Ishii" so I am thinking of changing my name due to privacy reasons and the fact that I need to start a new life. If any of you guys would like to give a title for my name, please send ideas to the following address above. I am not kidding!
