Comments:Today, we took Jack, a stray dog we found abandonded on our street last July, into foster care. When one of the volunteers put a leash around Jack's neck to lead him to his cage, Jack bit him. Jack's foster Mom told me that there's a possibility that Jack may not be adoptable because of this. He's basically a good dog, so hopefully they won't have any trouble working with him and teaching him not to bite. Please keep sweet little Jack in your prayers and pray that we won't have to take him to a shelter. They are going to try to train him not to bite people, so there's hope for him. He only bites when a stranger tries to put a leash on him. Other than that, he's a good dog. I just want him to learn not to bite and I want him to be adopted into a permanent and loving home, so please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Comments:There are some dogs and puppies in our neighborhood and some of them have kust been picked up by the dogcatcher. He has set humane traps out for the rest and he will be taking those dogs to the shelter as soon as they are caught. Please pray that these dogs and puppies will be adopted and not put to sleep. I hate for any of them to have to be taken to the shelter. They all need to be adopted by loving families. I will be praying for them, as well. Also, pray that nobody else's pets, inluding ours, will accidentally get caught in any of these traps. I'd hate for that to happen. Thank you.

Please pray that God will guide the puppy back home safely to its family. I know they'd love to have it back home, safe and sound. Thank you.

Comments:Hi, my name is Megan and im probably one of the biggest dog lovers out there. I take the best care of my dogs possibly. They all sleep with me at night, right under my covers, and They all stay in the house to keep warm. I had four dogs. But we just lost one yesterday. Her name was weezy, she would have been 1yrs old this month on the 25th. She got sick, and diagnosed with parvo virus. When we figured out that that was what was wrong with her, it was too late. The parvo virus took her away from us, just after 2 days. Now her sister, which is gonna be one this month, started throwing up yesterday so we rushed her to the vet. They said that she tested positive for parvo, and they gave her a 95% chance of living if we took care of her and gave her all of her medicines. He gave us antibiotics, and also a these pills that keep her from throwing up. then her prescribed her tamiflu, and said that that's what going to save her life. So All we are doing now is what the vet told us to do, She's not really eating, and wont drink. but we using a syringe to give her water. So please pray for her that she overcomes this sickness, and gets better. Also please pray for my two other dogs, they are in the house hold, and this virus is very contagious. so please pray that they don't catch it. thank you so much. <3 megan

Comments:For the past three months, we have been caring for a stray dog we found on our street. We are caring for him until we can find him a permanent home. (We do not have a big enough place to keep a dog as a pet, and our cats are intimidated by him, so we need to find him a family who can provide him with plenty of space to run and play.) During the day, we keep him on our patio, then at 5:00 p.m. every evening, I let him out in the yard then I let him back on the patio when it gets dark. Since today is Sunday, I let him out earlier than usual, since the dogcatcher does not work on this day. When I went back out tonight to let him back on the patio, I called for him and he didn't come. I can't find him anywhere. It's nighttime, the dog is missing, and I am worried sick. Please pray that God will guide him home safely and that He will put a hedge of protection around him as he finds his way home. I don't want anything bad to happpen to him. He is a very sweet dog, and I know he will make a great pet for someone. After caring for this dog for three months, it would be awful if he doesn't come back here so we can continue to give him the care he needs until a permanent home is found for him. Please keep him in your prayers. We need him bsck here safe and sound. Thank you.

Comments:I am the proud owner of 9 cats, 7 of which were strays that I took in over the years. I couldn't be happier that I was financially able to take them in and provide them the necessaries that they need to live a happy healthy life here in my home with me. The dilemma I find myself in now is that there are 4 more stray kittens and 3 adult cats that depend on me to care for them daily. I am so happy and grateful that I am able to afford to feed them all but unfortunately that is all that I am able to do for them right now. I can't afford to take them all in and sadly I can't afford to have them all spayed or nutured or provide them with the basic health care that they need. I have contacted a number of shelters and different organizations in an attempt to find a place for them but all of them are overflowing with unwanted cats and kittens and they will no doubt be put to sleep if I were to take them there. My personal convictions will not allow me to have a hand in putting a perfectly healthy animal to sleep simply because there is "no place for them". Please I ask that you will join me in prayer and pray that I will somehow be able to find a safe place for them to go and have a chance for a good life with someone or that I will be financially able to at least have them fixed and provide them with basic medical care. I am more than willing to continue to care for them daily but if they are not spayed or nutured soon, I will no doubt have a dozen outside cats and kittens to care for. Please....I beleive all it will take is your prayers along with mine to make a difference in the future of these cats. Thank you for your time and may God bless you and yours

Comments:Please pray for my lost dog, Tootsie, a black Shih Tzu. I just found out that she's been dognapped 10 days ago. If my family didn't know I was going home to take a break from college, they wouldn't have told me the news that my 12-year old dog is gone for more than a week now. Please, I beg all of you to pray for my dog's safe return. Thank you and God bless you all.

Comments:I have a 16 year old cat Thomas. About two weeks ago he lost his appetite and started breathing really hard. Thomas never denies food. He was a big boy. He lost about 5 pounds. I took him to the ER when his breathing got bad and they drained alot of bloody fluid off his lil lungs. I have to bring him back for more xrays to see if a tumor is in there. Please pray for my Thomas for he has been there for me thru my life and my cancer. I love him very much and I don't want to lose my little baby boy.

Comments:I recently found a lost dog and I am taking care of it until the owner is found. I plan to do everything humanly possible to contact the owner (taking the dog to the vet to be scanned for a microchip, posting fliers, filing a report with the local SPCA, etc.) and I could really use some prayers. Please pray that the dog's owner will soon be found. If the owner cannot be found, the only option I have will be to get in touch with a foster parent. Right now, the dog is staying on our patio with our cats. He has everything he needs - food, water, and shelter - and he is doing great. I plan to take good care of this dog until he is reunited with his owner. He is a sweet dog and I'm pretty sure that somebody is looking for him right now as we speak. Please keep this dog in your prayers. Also, I thought I'd let you know that a cousin of ours came by today with a man who we thought might be the dog's owner. It turns out that it was not his dog. He said his dog is a different breed than this one, and she has been missing since the 4th of July. Please keep him and his dog in your prayers, as well. Thank you.

Comments:I have some very sad news to share. Today, my cat Shania had gotten worse with her condition. She was not eating or drinking on her own, and she had gotten very skinny. Her breathing had not gotten any better. My Dad called the vet's office and told her Shania's situation. She said that it would be best to bring her in to be put to sleep. Shania died peacefully at the vet's office this afternoon. As much as it hurts to lose her, we all know that she is in Heaven now with the Lord and her suffering is over forever. I told my Dad on the way home from the vet's offoce that we can all take comfort in knowing that we added nine years to Shania's life (we found her nine years ago on our patio) and that she spent those years with a family. She was well cared for and loved. She still is, and always will be loved. I want to thank everybody who prayed for Shania. I have been praying for her every night. We will all miss her like crazy. Tonight, we all came home from town and our other housecat, Cassidy, was sleeping in the rocking chair by the front door. I greeted her as we came in then I said to Mom and Dad, "It seems like Shania should still be here." My Mom said it wold feel that way for awhile. I know that Cassidy will be missing Shania as much as we all do. It will take time to adjust. We're all very sad right now, but I know in time things will get better. Again, a big thank you to all who prayed.

Comments:My cat Shania is very sick. She has had some fluid buildup around her lungs, and today I took her to the vet to have it drained. The vet drained most of the fluid, but she was unable to drain all of it. Shania is not any better. We all thought that she would be feeling better with most of the fluid drained, but she is still breathing hard. It worries me that Shania might die in her sleep. She is very sick. Please ask God that if it's His will to heal Shania, that she will be healed. She is 14 years old, which is old for a cat, and that's another reason to worry about her condition. Please keep Shania in your prayers and ask God to heal her if it's His will. Thank you.

Comments:My cat Beau has been missing since this morning. I have been treating him for conjuctivitus and now for some reason, he has disappeared. It worries me to death that something bad might happen to him. Some people are cruel to animals and I'd hate to think of anybody mistreating Beau. Please pray that God will watch over Beau and keep him safe from any harm that might come his way. Pray that Beau will be guided back safely to us. I can't treat his eye condition of he isn't here. Plus, I miss him. I want him back home where he's safe. On a happier not, my oldest cat, Shania, is doing much better. I apologize for not posting an update on her condtion. She has had to have dental work done, and she was very sick afterwards. But she has made a huge improvement. She still has some fluid around her lungs, but I know that can be easily treated. God does answer prayers. There's never beemn a doubt in my mind that He does. Many thanks to everybody who prayed.

Comments:I first would like to thank all the wonderful people on this site. I believe when we all get together and pray for our sick companions, God will perform miracles. God has saved one of my horses in the past. She was inches from death, and through this site, God spared her life and performed a miracle on her. So, I thank all of you who pray for our furry friends. I have another horse Whom I love so much. His name is Astro. He might have cushions disease. He is having blood work done on Wednesday. Pleaseeee pray that it's nothing serious and that he will be fine. He is such a beautiful horse. I saved his life from the slaughter. God put him in my life for a reason. He is my heart. Please pray that he is not ill. Thank you to all the kind and special people on here. God Bless all of you and all your beautiful animals.

Comments:Today, I took my cat, Shania, to the vet for dental work. Everything went fine, but when we went back to pick her up later, the vet said that Shania has fluid around her lungs, making it difficult for her to breathe. We may very well have to take her to the emergency vet. The vet also said that Shania could possibly die overnight in her sleep. I don't want to lose my kitty. Please pray that God will clear that nasty fluid from Shania's body. She is an elderly cat and she has hyperthyroidism, and that complicates things too. Please keep Shania in your prayers. None of us want to lose her. Thank you.

Comments:My cat Shania is going to the vet on Monday for dental work. They have to put her under anesthesia and the vet told me that there's a chance that Shania could die due to the fact that she has hyperthyroidism. She is also an elderly cat and that could be a problem, too. I'm very nervous about Shania's upcoming appointment. Comments:Hi Everyone, This us an unusual request, but I felt led to post. First I want to thank all of you whom I know have prayed for me during a very difficult time and it has been felt. last 10 months. I have been fighting Rheumatoid Arthritis, which has caused other problems from offshoot problems. Nine months ago I almost lost my vision and my doctor said it was nothing short of a miracle that I retained my eyesight. I have thriteen months yet where I could loose my eyesight, hearing and voice. However it seems to be in remission for now. My muscles have atrophied and I have problems with passing out from being so week. In two weeks I start pool therapy which will whip me back into shape. Anyway I sing and play the keyboad, my husband plays guitar, bagpipes and pennywhistle. I love the Irish or Gealic folksongs as well as the language. Since my recovery is going to take a little while, I plan to learn Irish which I can do while resting. Do you know sometimes God wants us to do something and He bugs the heck out of you until you stop, listen and act on it? He has been urging me back to my keyboard for as long as I can. I have no doubt that God is pushing me to start a group together to not only sing Irish folksongs, but Christian music as well, with an Irish twist to it. I would like prayer for guidance before I start putting this together, so all will happen as God wills it. So please allow me another pray, which I know all of you always do with much love. Blessings to all, Merriam :)

Comments:Two days ago I had to take my darling Sasssy, a five year old Bassett Hound, to the vet because she had developed large lumps under her neck. The vet informed me she had swollen lymph nodes and aspirated the nodes for testing. Unfortunately, these test were not conclusive and Sassy had a biopsy done. The vet has made us aware that Lymphoma is suspected. Right now all we can do is wait for the results and pray that Sassy doesn't have anything life threatening. Please help us pray that Sassy will be ok. Sassy is truly an angel and dearly loved.

Her kidneys are fine and there's no UTI either, thank God. We have to treat her hyperthyroidism everyday for the rest of hre life, but I know we can do it. Shania always seens to want to eat. She eats like a pig, but just can't seem to put on any weight. Her metabolism just burns everything off quickly. Her hyperthyroidism is the reason for that. with the proper medication, she will put her weight back on and she'll be fine. I'm just glad she's going to be okay. Thank you all for the prayers.

Comments:Please God, and all who will help me pray. Please pray for my precious Pomeranian puppies, Oink, Little Sister, and Man Man, who are in the fight of their lives with Parvo. My 19 week old babies live here with their Mommy Freu Freu, Daddy Bruzer, Uncle Little Bear, Uncle Sammie, my daughter Morgan and I. I had just the idea and was researching certification for therapy dogs. Pomeranians have so much love to give, and many souls are in such need, I thought "What a wonderful way to make my mark in the world." Please help me ask God for that chance. You see, I am a special education teacher, and one of my students gets to visit every Friday with Molly and Maggie, two precious therapy pups that love to be read to. He reads them one of his books from his book stash and they love all the attention they get from this "handsome little man" I want my babies to spread that kind of love and enthusiasm. I purchased the vaccination series for them 2 weeks ago, but didn't panic about administering it, because of my foolish notion that they are so isolated, therefore protected. Now they suffer for my ignorance. Their little souls would be a sure hit in heaven, I just ask for the opportunity to let them unconditionally love here on Earth first. Please help me.

Comments:Pray for BW, just the initials are her name. She is a black and white feral feline who lives around my apartment building. BW is pregnant and her ocelet looking feline mate, named Ocie, was killed yesterday night. They were very close and Ocie was a very good mate and father. We are grieving, because we witnessed love and caring in another species other than human. Pray that she is okay. Ocie protected and cared for BW. Also that we can get her fixed and find a home for her before winter. I believe this might be BWs third or fourth pregnancy.

Comments:I have a very sick puppy and anyone that might understand this, if you would please take a minute and pray for her, I would be so thankful. Lizzy has been going to the vet for 4 months and had a sore on her neck. It was aspirated several times and always showed no cancer. We changed the antibiotic several times just waiting to find the correct one. After 4 different antibiotics, and no sign of it working I was really becoming afraid of what might be wrong with my best friend. A biopsy was taken and tho everything else showed no cancer the biopsy…..after much delay because things were not very clear to the pathologist…..showed mass cell cancer in the final stage. This seems so unfair to Lizzy………although she is a 9 year old boxer, she was never sick once in her life. I believe so much in prayer and I was wondering if anyone reading this could pray for her for a miracle Lizzy and I would be so grateful. I’ve seen God do many miracles in my lifetime and I believe totally that he is the divine healer…so I always live with the thought that I never give up hope. Although the prognosis is not very good at all, Lizzy doesn’t really know she is sick and I thank God for that. I am told that she has very little time left…….. Please if you could take a moment of your precious day and say a prayer for Lizzy I would so appreciate it and so would she. If you might have anyone on your mailing list that would pray for a pet please pass this on. I promised her I would do everything possible to get the world to pray for her….thanks so much, Suzie

Comments:Hi, what has happened to PFP? I don't see any more current or update prayer requests. Mine is the last one and that was a few weeks ago when I asked for prayer for my precious Tiffany Bichon. We have confirmed that she has lung cancer but at this time she is not suffering. She's started to eat and is very lethargic but happy. She does grow weaker as the days pass but still can get around okay and go in and out. We love her so and have chose not to do chemo as she is 14 and does not handle medicine well at all. I am concerned about the website. It has been such a blessing. Is it still up and running or have you stopped for a while? God bless all and thanks for all your prayers always.

Comments:Please continue to pray for my dear Bichon, Tiffany. She is still not eating much, only little bits of food. Vet discovered 3 spots on her lung and labs showed she does not have Valley Fever so cancer is suspect. She goes to a specialist vet tomorrow. Please pray for good results. God can do anything and we believe He can change these reports, restore and repair. She has lost 5 lbs and is weak. Thanks so much for your prayers!!!! God bless.

Comments:I have a sheltie who has just gone into hospital for diabetes. For the past two years he has had liver problems. I thought that he was holding his own. (He is on all the right medications) The doctors are trying to stabilize him, they are finding it difficult as he has an added problem with his liver. I am devistated. He looks so fragile, he is not eating, but he is on a drip. It doesn't matter what I do for him it does't seem to be enough. God I love this dog, he doesn't seem to be listening to my prayers. Prehaps someone elses prayers will make it happen. I am so glad I found this web site. I also want to bless all those other animals that are so ill I totally understand how all owners are feeling. Thanks for your prayers.

Comments:Update on our Bichon..Tiffany....She's lost 5 lbs now. Very lethargic and weak from no desire to eat. We prayed God would quickly give the vet wisdom to treat her. Xray showed 3 spots on her rt lung. The spots are either Valley Fever (which is so prevalant in AZ with humans and animals) or cancer. Of course we are praying that it is VF and that it has not spread to other organs. The lab results will be back Tuesday. Please pray with us that we have good news, that it has not spread and that she begins to desire food. God bless you all!

Comments:This was not posted previously as a prayer request. But it's a wonderful inspiring story of God's presence and help. This was posted by an owner who had lost their dog and had posted on Craigslist. "Found! My lost Shit Zu Found! Its a praying miracle! I cant believe it! After 1 week of crying and praying, someone has returned my family member home! He is doing great and is getting more love then ever! All of you that are looking for a missing one, dont give up! Put flyers everywhere! This story is special because I put fliers on all the light poles on my street. The person who had my dog said she opened her door and the flier was on the ground right in front of her. The recent storm and wind blew it directly to her. The flyer was posted about three blocks away from her home. What are the chances? She would have never driven towards my street as there was no reason for her too. What are the chances of getting a storm in Vegas? The flyer had just enought paint on it to read the phone number and to see a picture. Certainly there is a GOD! I am not religious but I am now a true believer! Thank you GOD!" Please God, help all those animals who are lost. If they have wonderful, responsible, loving, kind, caring owners, please return them safely to their owners so they can be reunited. If they don't have kind, loving owners, may they remain safe and out of harms way of course but may they be saved and rescued (adopted) by a wonderful person/family who will give them a life of happiness and love. May God Bless them all! Amen. Thank you.

Comments:I have an update on my cat, Tommy whom I posted a prayer request for about a month ago. Tommy's health took a turn for the worse. I haven't had the financial means to take him to the vet, and I have been having to do what I can for him here at home. Tommy had not been eating or drinking on his own, and I have been having to feed him with a feeding syringe and give him liquids like water and Pedialyte with a large dropper. He seemed to be gaining some weight, and a few times, he ate and drank a little on his own, but not enough. I still had to help him out. Yesterday, I had to go into town to run an errand, and when I got home, Tommy was missing. He has not come back home, and the thought that has been in my head all day is that he has possibly gone somewhere to die. I know that animals know when it's their time. I read about this a long time ago. Tommy would not have been able to survive in his fragile condition. I don't know for sure if he really has died or not. I'm just saying that it's a possiblity. Tommy was not originally our cat. In May of 2000, just days after the death of my first cat, Reba, my cousin's cat gave birth to a litter of kittens. Tommy was one of the kittens, and when they were all weaned, they kept Tommy and found homes for the rest. Some time later, they moved away and left Tommy in the care of my other cousin and his wife, who live right next door to us. It wasn't long afterwards, they got a second dog and Tommy couldn't get along with the new dog and was afraid to go back home. The thought of Tommy not having a home to go to was heartbreaking to me, so I decided to do something about it. I offered to take him in and take care of him, since he was afraid to go back home. They liked this idea, so that's what I did. I gave Tommy a good home and cared for him along with all our other cats. When Tommy became sick, I did everything I could to help him. Now that he's missing, I feel like I have a big hole in my heart. Like I said, I don't know if he died, or if he's just missing, but I have been beside myself with worry all day. Please pray that if Tommy is still alive that he will come back home soon. Only God knows if Tommy is still alive or not. I have been looking for Tommy all day today, and there's no sign of him. I can't take care of him if he isn't here. If he died, then that means that all of his sickness is gone and he's with God now. I miss Tommy, and I could really use some comforting words right now. May 6 is the 8th anniversary of the death of my cat, Reba, and now I'm having to deal with the loss of Tommy along with it. This is a lot to handle, and I'm dealing with it as best I can. But if everybody could send up some comforting prayers for Tommy and for me, I'd sure appreciate it. Thank you.

Comments:Jazzi has been eating and drinking much better since my last update. She seems so happy too. Thanks for all the prayers. I do have quite a concern if you could pray for her. It is possible that I may be seeing more regrowth of the tumor in her mouth. This is a BIG concern because the vets don't recommend anymore cryosurgery. Maybe one but down the road in order for her body to recover from the two surgeries she had in the past 2 weeks, also because there is not much more area in her mouth to cryo. If it is regrowth then the waiting would be losing ground. I need guidance considering other possible options. One being the use of a supplement/medicine that prevents blood vessel formation to tumors. But, it cannot be started if we are to do another surgery. If the vets don't allow more surgery then I may have missed my window to have started this product. It is about timing and not missing the window. Please pray for wisdom for me and healing for Jazzi. Please agree with me in prayer as I stand firm against the enemy, rebuking him as Jazzi receives God's divine miracle healing. She is my precious little girl and gives my life so much meaning. Cuddling with her makes all my troubles disappear. Thanks for your support, Leigh and Jazzi

Comments:Prayer of Thanksgiving. One year ago, a baby llama was born prematurely on a cold March afternoon. By the time the owners arrived, the baby had just a faint pulse and was suffering from hypothermia. My first thoughts were to obtain a Animal Prayer website. Finding Prayer For Pets was the first answer to prayer. The recovery of the baby llama over the past year is the second answer to prayer. Last weekend, Miracle (the baby llama) placed fifth and second in different llama competition categories. Miracle qualified to compete in the Regionals. Miracle's owners have said over the past year that the prayers made Miracle's recovery possible. Thank you to God, to the member's prayers, and to Prayer For Pets for being there for us. Comments:Please pray for my friend's dog. "Rosco is very sick and has been at the Emerg Clinic all weekend. I took him in to Dr. Chandler (Dr. Roberts new co-vet) for a well check up and she found some places in his ears and mouth that were classic symptoms of a problem with the platelets in his blood. Bloodwork confirmed it and I was told to take him IMMEDIATELY to the clinic. they have tried a few meds over the weekend, but so far, he has not responded to them, and the platelet count is currently non-existent. Basically he has no immune system, and his blood will not clot without platelets. The cause is unknown... He is under the care of an internist., and we met with her this morning. It's very touch and go right now...he may begin to bleed internally and he may start responding, but he is in probably most of this week. We can't see him, because it will upset him for us to leave him again. Some dogs do pull through this, but others don't...so we have to just keep praying and waiting...I am praying for no suffering. No one is able to predict the outcome very well....transfusions will not help him, the way it would a human. Thank you for your prayers--this is a very special little family member and this family does not need anymore heart ache.

Comments:Update on Guy the cat: After some preliminary testing/xrays, the vet says that Guy has some sort of infection that has invaded his bones, especially the joints of his legs, which have been damaged, some worse than others. She said it appears to be bacterial, and has taken a culture to see what type we are dealing with. He doesn't have leukemia. Until they get the culture results, he is on some antibiotics and will stay at the vets at least a night or two. I told her that if it's in his best interests, I would like to fight the infection and see how it goes for him at this point. Even with some permanent joint damage, I am hoping & praying that he will recover from the infection and be able to live a happy life with us as an inside cat. If he doesn't respond to the treatment, and it appears that his life will be nothing but suffering, we will make the merciful decision to send him on to rainbow bridge. Thanks so much to all who are praying & have emailed me; I am trusting our loving Father for Guy. Sandy

She doesn't seem to be really hurting him but he's such a cry baby that he's whines like she is really hurting him. Comments:Thank you all for the prayers you've been sending on behalf of Jazzi. Please continue praying for her. She is not eating as much as she should. She seems to want to but I think her mouth is uncomfortable. I tried to give her pain medicine last night but she reacted almost violently to the taste of it. I only got a few drops in her mouth and she became spastic like. I felt so bad and now I don't know what to do for her pain. I see some reddish-pink on her gums where the cryo surgery was done. I am concerned that it may be regrowth again. Please pray that this is healthy tissue, not cancerous. The vet said there really isn't anymore room in her mouth to do more surgery so she may not be able to have anymore. If the growth restarts there may not be anything we can do. Please pray for God's devine healing. Thank you all, Leigh and Jazzi

I hadn't seen him for several days, but I found him yesterday with several leg injuries, and it looked like he hadn't been eating for a while. He is just barely able to walk on two legs, one front & one back one. I have him in a cage in the house now. He is eating, drinking & eliminating, although all he does is lay on his soft blanket. He kind of rolls around at times to change position. I will be taking him to the vet on Monday. Please pray that this sweet Guy's pain will ease and that he will have complete healing. Comments:Thank you all for all the prayers you've sent out on Jazzi's behalf. She is recovering well from her second surgery. The vet told me that the cryosurgery is not a cure but buys us time to get her immune system to kick in. I've brought her to my dad's house where she is less stressed and she loves it here. I'm also staying here with her and hope the stress free environment will help her immune systems also. It is important that I choose to give her the correct supplements to build her immune system and fight any cancer trying to come back. Please agree with me in prayer for God's wisdom to make the right choices and for Jazzi's immune system to kick in and beat this and for her to remain pain free. Thanks, Leigh and Jazzi

I'm trying to prepare myself in case this is the end for him, but if not, I'd appreciate prayer for him to get well and be with us for another few years. He has been such a huge part of our family I'm not sure how we'll do without him. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Comments:Please pray for my male cat Slinky. He has been sick for a year. He often throws up after eating -drinking. He has lost over half his body weight from 15 lbs to 7 lbs. He needs to gain weigh and to be able to keep food/water down. The lab results showed off balance liver enzymes. I took him to the vet and paid $300.00 but they did not give the care he needs. They want more money to bring him back in. Money that I can not afford. I love my cat dearly. I have had him for 12 years. Thanks, Vickie

Comments:Please pray for our dog Molly! She has been diagnosed with Lupus. She is loosing her ability to use her back legs and the ability to swallow hard food. She just celebrated her 12th birthday on March 20th. Before this struck her she was a very active dog and a wonderful pet. Please prayer for her disease to either leave her or go into remission so that she may continue to live a happy life. We all love her so very much. My husband is having a very hard time with this. It is very sad to watch her go very a happy healthy energetic dog to a dog that cannot even walk up four stairs. Pray very hard!!!!

Comments:I have just read your wonderful guest book, with a lump in my throat. I too have a precious baby, Mickey (Peke) who has been ill for several years, firstly with seizures, which seem to be under control now, but was diagnosed in October with a heart condition. He retains water to the point whereby he has to be drained, about every 2 months. He is on medication for life, and is doing quite well. To all the lost, suffering, ill animals/pets all over the world, my Prayers remain with you constantly. May God watch over them all, they are His precious Creations.

I have been crying uncontrollably all day, even as I write this. I am so scared for her and miserable at the thought of her being lost and frightened. She's never been outdoors before. We are already so attached to her. Please... I can't stand much more of this it has been hell all day. Please

Comments:I am writing because my best friend Maggie, a 14 yr old field bred English Springer Spaniel, is seriously ill with an as yet undiagnosed condition causing her to have fluid in her lungs making it hard to breathe.. She's in the hospital and may not make it ... or I may need to make an incredibly difficult decision. She is on two strong antibiotics and is getting oxygen. The next few hours perhaps days are very critical. Please pray for Maggie ... it would mean so much to me and to her. Maggie is the greatest dog and devoted friend, and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She's helped me through some really tough times. I love her so much, and always will. I could not love her more. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Comments:I am writing this update on Jazzi and asking for continued prayer during this crucial time of healing and recovery for her. The surgery went well again today but the surgeon advised that we can't keep her alive by surgery alone, especially every 2 weeks. She has to begin recovery so she can have quality of life. Only one more surgery may be possible down the road but after that he said we are running out of room in her mouth to operate and running out of time. She needs to make a turn around. Her immune system must kick in and begin healing her. Please pray that I choose the correct methods of supplements and medications to treat her with. I have so many excellent and promising treatments but can't do all of them without risking overwhelming her which would be detrimental. I have to select a minimum and stick with just them. Please pray that God not only halt any further tumor growth in her mouth and jaw but would give me the wisom to make the right choices for Jazzi in every way, including choices that will create a less stressful and happier living environment for her.......as her attitude is an important part of her recovery. Thank you all for your prayers and support, Leigh and Jazzi

Comments:Please pray for our puppies. The one my youngest son picked out from the litter was found dead when we came home tonight. There are 4 more, including one that just has touched me so much. They all are so lovable. We don't know what caused his sweet little Polar to die, but I'm asking for prayers for the other 4 from this litter. There is one other that we planned on keeping, but the others were already promised to a friend and my brother. It is just breaking my son's heart at losing his baby and now he's afraid of losing the other one he'd planned to keep too. These pups were from a rescue we took into our family.

Cricket is also 14 and she has a thyroid problem and just cant gain any weight. She is as light as a feather. Please continue prayers for her. Thank you all again. God Bless You

Comments:Hello EveryOne, We have need of help with a bovine who is being raised for meat by a local family. Rather than putting up a simple fence, they keep the animal tied up without shelter 24/7. Our weather goes from very cold, rainy, sleet, windy in the winter to very hot in the summer. Unfortunately, they are within the law, so animal control can't do much. They do this every year to another poor beast. Please help with loving prayer for both the bovine, the family who owns it, and the people who care about its welfare. I know that only love can change their hearts. They live on Zoar Rd. in Orange County, Virginia. Thanks, Anita B

He is the sweetest animal, loves all people & other animals. However, due to a parasite problem, his white platelets are very low, the meds are not working & now he will not take the new meds, they make him so sick. We are trying again after a short break but if they do not work or he does not take the meds, he will not make it. He is our heart, please pray that he will be healed & the vet will have God's wisdom to treat the illness. Thanks so much. In Christ.

Comments:Just a note to thank everyone for the wonderful emails and prayers in the past weeks for my baby-girls spay surgery and also for the answered prayers with letting my husband let me keep the two puppies. This request is on a "bright note" - just asking for advise. My little tiny (runt) female, I'm having a hard time getting the right name for her. She started as "Cookie" after my deceased pup that was black and white polka dotted just like her, but that seems to be a boy name. Then, I wanted to call her Tia Maria (tetee' Marie) for short, but it's not sticking either - she has the face of a little baby doll, and I just wanted to see if any of you guys had any suggestions (my other babies are Alexis Maria "Lexie", Luciano Guisseppe Luca JoJo" and Harry (her big brother). I even liked GiaBella Jolie (Bella JoJo for short) means "beautiful Jolie" in italian. Just wanted to see what you all thought or if you had any better suggestions before I sign her papers. Thanks, Mama Dog Maria:)

Comments:I am writing all of you to update you on Jazzi's situation. I took her down to Dr. Goldstein's office today as a follow up to her cryosurgery two weeks ago that was done on the tumor in her mouth. The growth is starting back so a second cryo is necessary so soon, unfortunately. They will be doing the cryo first thing in the morning and plan to keep her through Friday, possibly Thursday if she is recovering well. Most follow up cryos are just touch ups and go home the same day. I am concerned that they need to keep her for so many days, indicating that it is another major surgery and cause for concern. The associate doctor to Dr. Goldstein keeps talking about the risk to the tongue but after letting Dr. Goldstein see her he felt it is hopeful. I didn't get to hear this from Dr. Goldstein directly and again, question why the long stay if it doesn't look so involved. Please keep her in prayer again that her tongue remains intact and no damage to the nerves occur, and that her heart remains strong through the anesthesia and recovery despite the murmur and that they can get all the cancer. Also, that she is comfortable and not stressed out or depressed tonight as I had to leave her down there overnight.........which breaks my heart. When I left her two weeks ago it was after a victorious day as the surgery went well and I knew she would be groggy and sleep most of the night anyway. Tonight she is wide awake and probably wondering where I am and why I left her and why she can't be home in her comfortable bed snuggled up with me. Please pray for her not to be stressed or depressed but to feel God's peace and for her to be hopeful to want to fight and to beat this. And, for my faith to be strengthed also so I may stand strong in prayer on her behalf. Thank you all, Leigh and Jazzi

Comments:I've personally sent some requests to some of you who have prayed for my Jazzi in the recent past. I've been having a terrible time getting the the web page to work on my computer. When I try to open I get non-stop pages opening to the "Page not found" page. They won't stop opening unless I can end-task them quicker than they are opening. It is like the computer gets possessed when trying to access this page. I assumed it was a problem for all but thanks to Linda I was made aware of the fact that only my computer may be having a problem. Thanks again Linda. So, here I am sending my request to all of you from my boyfriend's computer! I think the devil is mad for the victory your prayers brought us in the past. As many of you may remember my cat, Jazzi had a cancerous tumor removed by cryosurgery 2 weeks ago. The surgery went very well despite the size of it and her heart murmur that had progressed. The vet predicted she would most likely need 1 or 2 more cryos but unfortunately, it appears she is need on surgery already. The tumor has already begun to grow back, this time inside her cheek where it wasn't located before. Although the vet says it is rare to need surgery this soon after the previous, something has to be done. I will be taking her back down tomorrow (Tuesday) for them to see and mostly likely perform another cryo. I'm concerned because the recovery has been rough and she has not been allowing me to get her supplements and enough food into her. I'm concerned about her immune system being strong enough. Please keep her in prayer that God would cover her and protect her, show us the same grace and mercy as He did 2 weeks ago..........and that He would be completely in control. And, I could use some strength too as I am awaiting the results of a breast biospy myself. Thank you all for your sincere prayers, Leigh and Jazzi

Comments:This is a request for 600 to 700 cats rescued from a hellish situation near Pittsburgh Pa.I live in central Pa. but the news here is covering the story. Many of these cats where sick and dying when rescued.Thousands more are buried at the sight. Over 400 cats are being treated at a temporary hospital URI's,skin wounds, abscesses, dehydration, malnutrition, dental problems, and eye and bladder infections, are the common ailments. 100 cats remain on the property, and need to be captured. The Pa. SPCA sent an under cover agent to what was suppose to be a no kill cat sanctuary, called Tiger Ranch. Living conditions were filthy. In the death room, cats with untreated diseases languished, too weak to reach food or water. In another room, cats huddled around a portable heater, too weak to get to the 1 food bowl available. No kill shelters from several states had sent animals to Tiger Haven, as had individuals. Ga. shelters dropped off cats twice a month. Now rescue groups, and individuals are frantically calling the SPCA trying to retrieve cats. The cats are now under the care of an SPCA in Clarion county Pa. I know it is horrifying to hear about this, but our pain is not as bad as what these creations of God have lived through. This site reaches the compassionate, and anointed warriors. Please pray, cry, and fight for these babies, in Jesus name

Comments:LEXIE UPDATE – Everything worked out okay (so far). I called the vets. at 12:20 on Saturday and they hadn’t started yet (meanwhile I was at the church right by my house, kneeling down in front of the Blessed Mother saying a rosary – then I went home and said another full rosary by the graves of Mitzi and Cookie) Finally the vets office called me at 10 till 1:00 and said she was ready. We went to pick her up – and she was still sedated – poor little thing, her lead was bobbing like a bobble headed doll, but she wasn’t in pain, just a little confused. All of the light/passing cars were scaring her, so Kevin just held her close to him with her little head on his chest and when we finally got home, they told us to just keep her quiet as she might thrash about as the anesthesia wore off, so Kevin kept her on his chest on the sofa all afternoon. I went to the grocery and by the time I got back at 4:00 she was sitting in the window waiting for me. Talk about a heck of a day!!! This time the vet put metal stitches, so they aren’t going any place. I’m supposed to bring her back in today to let them look at it. She’s on a little pain pill in AM and at night and also Amoxillin (antibiotic) and that’s a liquid twice a day to keep from getting any infection. They had wrapped her with gauge and an ace-bandage type thing, but it got all “squenched” up so this morning, I cut it off, and made/put a fresh gauge on her with a soft ace-bandage so it wouldn’t irritate her skin or stitches. I was going to stay home from work today, but my dad is going to go over and check in her in a little while, and I will just leave early to take her in to be checked. Thanks SOO much for the prayers and support – these last few weeks with my pups, death of mother in law and now surgery and complications with Lexie have really taken a toll on my soul. I told Kevin though, next weekend, come hell or high water, we’re DEFINETELY going down to my little camp and spend the night. SIncerely, Maria

Comments:LEXIE UPDATE FROM SURGERY (SPAYED ON THURSDAY) It’s Saturday morning, and I just had to bring Lexie to the vet again. Last night about 6:30, I was at my house and my step-daughter was over and thank goodness she was there, Lexie took off in the back yard and busted one of her little stitches. It had a little blood and looked like a large "green pea" poking out where her stitch busted. I called the emergency vet number and they said that she should be okay until this morning when she could get back in to her vet. So, we but a “panty shield” on against the bo-bo and then wrapped her with an ace bandage. I brought her in for 10:00 and when the doctor saw it, he rubbed his forehead and said that he was going to have to put her under and re-stitch every thing. I asked him if it was her stomach lining, and he said no, that it was a little bit of fat – I thought he could just give her a local and push it back and and re-stitch it but he said no, to be safe, he had to cut, and re-stitch and he couldn’t wait till Monday because it would start to heal, so he was going to work her in between appts. today. I was a NERVOUS wreck after that but I didn’t have a choice and had to leave her. The only good part is thank goodness it wasn’t on Sunday and thank goodness I went early – they are only open until 2:00 and they will call me when she’s done and the vet. tech. said that I had to pick her up by 1:30. I told her call me as SOON as she is done and I’ll be there in 15 min. I feel SOOOO bad for my poor baby – she was already shaking like a tree, I don’t think she has very good memories of that place now, and now poor little thing has to get cut again. Well – I ran past my office to check emails and put a post on PFP for her. Then, I’m leaving here and running down to St. Joachim’s church (they are having the St. Joseph’s Alter there today) and I want to get a blessed candle for Lexie. So, I'm asking everyone of my dear friends here at PFP to PLEASE, PLEASE keep my baby in your prayers today - I will update everyone after I pick her up. (Only 2 1/2 hours at the most to wait for her) After this - if I have to take "family sick leave" - I don't care, I'm DEFINETELY staying with my baby until she's completely healed. Thank you all - sincerely, Maria Love and hugs,

Their apartment air wreaks of strange smoke. Laundry piles and trash are all over the apartment I have been told. The landlord kicked other people living their out. The student is pregnant but smokes and I think she drinks, too.I have tried to talk to her about keeping Maize inside, and getting him vet treatment He gets bloody noses. She just stares into space, or says things that don't make sense when I talk to her. He was left outside for 4 days, when they went away recently. The second cat has no name. I call him Pretty Boy. He lives in an apartment next door. He is a friendly cat starved for affection. I was told he followed his one owner home one day, several years ago. He never is allowed inside. I think this might be another case of owners taking drugs. Someone in the building told me the apartment smells like rotten food, when you walk by it. The porch where they put out food for him sometimes,is filled with rubbish, dirty cat litter, junk, and rancid food. One of the neighbors lets his dog chase Pretty every morning, because Pretty lays on his car.I haven't seen him recently, but I think he has a hiding place. The houses where I live are Victorian, and there are a lot of sheds in backyards. It would do me no good to try to trap him, because i have 2 cats which is the limit my allows. I have friends in rescue, but they are far away. The local no kill shelter has a list of over 100 cats waiting to get in.Please pray Maize and Pretty boy get the loving homes they deserve, and that"God makes away where there is no way." Please pray for the baby of Maize's owners, too.

Comments:Dear friends, I read this website every day, having been in need of prayers for my own furbabies, two of whom I had to put down in the recent past. The pain is still there, but I thank God every day for the joy my Bianca and Jasmine brought during their 16 and 15.5 years, respectively. My prayer for you continues to be that your lost are found and in good health, your sick are healed, and those of you who are grieving are comforted in knowing that you did the best you could for your furbabies and that they are now in a better place. God bless you and your beloved pets.

Comments:march 13th...45 months to the day after parker our mini schnauzer suffered a stroke on her 3rd birthday...june 13, 2004. i came in from a trip and parker was the first one that greeted me. she's doing well and giving unconditional love to everyone that she meets....except that natsy squirrel that torments her daily. we found this site...like a lot of you did...when parker was down for the count and the future did not look bright. i will tell you that i witnessed a miracle and that prayer does cause HIM to listen. seeing parker rally after being at death's door for 5 days made me believe that there truly is a a higher power and that miracles are possible. if your pet is sick, injured or diseased....don't forget about prayer. He does listen. i know that parker is not going to live forever...but we enjoy him one day at a time and we take nothing for granted. if your beloved pet gets better...don't forget it wasn'b by accident. and if your pet is taken...remember that the pain and suffering is over and you'll be reunited "at the bridge". till next month.... with much love to our friends at prayers for pets... bill, maggie and parker the wonder dog!

Comments:Some very good friends of mine, who are huge animal lovers, have a dog named Rufus. Rufus is 6 & is a mix breed of shepherd. His parents have recently discovered a fast growing tumor on his leg that they suspect a lymphoma. Rufus is their world & it would absolutely devastate them if it is malignant. They recently had to put two other dogs to sleep. Please pray for Rufus!!

Comments:march 13, 2008. i just got in from a trip to south jersey and the first person that greeted me upon my return was parker, our mini schnauzer. it probably doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment until you recognze that parker had a major stroke on june 13th, 2004...her 3rd birthday! for a few days, she was down for the count. in fact, we were one short ride away from taking her to the vet to put her down. then something miraculous happened. a stirring that caused her to regain strength and rejoin the living. while some of you might dismiss parker's miracle...we have never lost sight of the fact that something wonderous happened to her when maggie and i prayed for her to heal. now 45 months later...parker is continuing to enjoy life and give her own version of unconditional love to all. that is...except that pesky squirrel that baits her every day in the back yard. we found prayers for pets when we thought our baby was about to die. we prayed along with countless other prayers for pets advocates. miracles do happen. if your baby...friend....companion is facing a dark time...don't forget the power of prayer. HE does listen. and if HE chooses to take your pet for his very own...know fully well that they will enjoy an eternity of love and protection free from pain, injury and disease under HIS constant watch. we don't know how much longer we have with our precious parker...but we enjoy each day...one at a time. again...the power of prayer is extremely mighty. don't ever give up hope as HE listens. until next month...to our unseen friends at prayers for pets.... much love from bill, maggie and parker the wonder dog.

Comments:Heidi is my families beloved pet. She has had a happy and long life of nearly 16 years. She was born on July 4th 1992 in Louisiana. Heidi has always brought joy and happiness into our lives. Today March 13th, Heidi will no longer be in pain and will be our Heidi pup for always. She can now run through endless fields of grass have Jesus rub her belly and have her do tricks for treats. Heidi had many ailments that would otherwise cripple other animals. She was the runt of the litter and was able to handle an enlarged heart with a murmur and a stroke in her lifetime. I can not imagine my life without Heidi being a part of it. However her loss of sight and ever worsening hearing is forcing this decision on our family. We have all been selfish with Heidi, we want her to stay and comfort us when we are sad, but she is not getting better. Her little 16 year old body has done all it can. Her spirit will forever be ingrained in our lives and our home. Just thinking about rushing home after work to let Heidi outside so she can bask in the sun makes me miss her SO much I can barely contain it. How do you cope? How will I ever get over this? She has been in my life for more than half my life. There can never be another like Heidi, she is truly heavenly and will be missed deeply. Please pray for Heidi, and that she understands that we only want the best for her. We love her with all our hearts and always will!

Comments:My baby girl, Lexie, is on her way to the vet. right now, she is scheduled to be spayed this morning. Please say a little prayer that she will be okay with her surgery and that she won't be scared too much - I'm just hoping that they do the surgery early, so she will probably just be groggy and sleep the rest of the day. Thank goodness she will be coming home tonight, so my baby girl doesn't have to spend the night without me - she's never been away from us over night. Thanks again to everyone for all of your prayers and support - sincerely, Maria

Comments:Dear Prayer Friends I need your help right now.. Please send prayers for my tabby cat Simon. He's been my baby for 14 yrs., and he's the sweetest, most loving cat ever. He has a malignant mass over his eye, but he's still eating and sleeping beside me every night. I've had a difficult last few years, including the loss of my other cat in 2006. My family is all the way across the country, so it's just me, and my rescued pets. They're everything to me. So if you could pray for Simon's healing, so he could be with me a few more years, I would appreciate it more than words could say. Thank you, and God bless you all.

Comments:WONDERFUL UPDATE - At 1:43pm my husband Kevin called me and said that I could keep my puppies!!! I'm SOOOOO excited, happy and relieved. These past few weeks have been so hard and the last 3 days have been pure torture worrying about my babies. I can't wait to get home from work today and just pick each one of them up and kiss and love them and let them know that they finally have their "forever" homes and it's with me!! Thank you all SOOOO VERY MUCH for being here for me - without you guys in my life, I really don't know what I would have done. Being a part of this group makes me feel like I have an inside line directly to the angels in heaven and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life now and forever. Comments:Thanks to all who sent prayers for our beloved Fizzy Tiger the week of Feb. 18 or so, when he was ill and refusing to eat and we had to leave for Morocco---the housesitters did a great job of coaxing him and babying him, and when we returned Sunday, he was looking SO much better! He continues to need to be convinced to eat, but once he starts, he does quite well. Many, many thanks for all your prayers! You not only helped Fizzy recoved, but your prayers kept me from losing my mind being so far away when my dearest animal companion was ill. Good bless each and every one!

I was convinced she would not come back as it has been 5 days now and she is not streetwise. Having put up posters yesterday she has suddenly appeared. I don´t know if she has been shut in somewhere as normally it is unknown for the Spanish people to take a cat in. She seems to have a problem eating so I will get her checked out. All your prayers have not been in vain and I am one very happy mummy now. God Bless each and everyone of you. God listens to people no matter how busy he is. susannah and Ian

Comments:Two of my cats, Leo and Angel, got out of my house on November 9th, 2007 and haven't been seen or heard from again. These were two feral cats that their mom abandoned in my backyard. They were finally at the point where they were becoming sociable with people, and I could finally pick Leo up and hold him. I miss them so much. I have looked and looked, at all hours of the day and night. The problem is that I must move from here very soon, and the thought of leaving them is killing me. My faith is running low and I feel as lost as them. Please help bring them home. Thank you to everyone.

She is three years old and had beautiful puppies last year, but since she is in heat again, and we can't take care of more puppies, she is being spayed today. I know this is a common procedure, but it's more complicated when they're in heat and I just want her to come out of this OK. None of our dogs have ever had surgery before, so maybe I need to pray for me instead! To stop being a worry wort and instead be strong for my animal family!

Comments:Please keep my cat Samson in your prayers, we have been battling cronic ear infections since he was adopted in July and these past few weeks have been extremely hard on him. He is on three different medications for his ears and eyes to battle the infections that no vet can diagnose and this morning at 4am he began vomiting repeatedly and was still doing so when I was forced to leave for work. My mother was driving in from out of town to care for him til I got home and I am just praying he is having a reaction to the food he ate last night or that he got into a trash can. Please keep him in your prayers and ask that the Lord ease his pain and heal him from whatever it is he is battling. Thank you so much.

Comments:Hi everyone, I would like to give you an update on Jazzi. She had her cryosurgery done on Tuesday and it was a huge success. Dr. Goldstein is the country's expert on this type of surgery. He wasn't sure she was a candidate at first but he was able to do it and he said it was she was nearing 'miracle'. He was absolutely over joyed with the outcome of the surgery and her recovery. She spent two nights with them and was able to begin eating and drinking on her own.....something she has not been able to do for 2 months. I really felt all the prayer that has been going out to us and I'm so grateful to all who have lifted us up. I picked her up today and took her back to visit with my father for 6 hours before taking her home. She has been such a happy kitty since the surgery. She perked right up and spent a long time giving herself a good wash this afternoon........ something else she has not been able to do for 2 months. She grew up at my dad's house and loves it there. It has a deck which she loves and where I live I no longer have one. It is also a cat-free home and I've discovered over the last 2 years that she prefers this. Unfortunately, there are 3 other cats where I live now with my boyfriend and as soon as I brought her home this evening her whole personality changed from happy and loving life to depressed and irritable. She started growling as soon as I brought her through the door, hardly ate and wouldn't wash herself afterwards even though she got messy from the little food I syringed her. I am really depressed about this. Her mood has a lot to do with her immune system and recovery. She has always been a reflection of my mood and happiness and unfortunately, I've been depressed about my living situation also and she is reading this. Could you all keep us both in prayer for this dark cloud to leave and for us to enjoy this house and make it more of a home to us both .......or for God to lead us in a different direction if this is his will.......before it is too late for her. Thank you all, Leigh
