Recently, while watching this season's American Idol, I noticed a contestant named Phil Stacey who looks like Da'an. He was made to wear a hat for two weeks before last week's show because some people were complaining about his giant bald alien head. Phil was almost voted off last week, and if there are any Da'an fans out there, it would be nice to cast a few votes for Phil. |

Listen, friend, if it makes you feel any better: Gene Roddenberry (or however the heck you spell his name) never actually wrote past four seasons. The series were meant to end when the Taelons died. Then of course the producers said, "Well, we might be able to milk this a little more" so they managed to buy of two/three of the origional actors and set out to squeeze the money pot for all it was worth. So you can just pretend that Season 5 doesn't exist and actually get some peace out of it, because technically... it doesn't. Still, Da'an does die, but the fact that it ENDS there did make me feel a bit better. Sincerely, Irmy, who really really wants to join the Leni Parker fan club but is still waiting for a reply.... |

| Comments: | Dear character of Da'an and other taelons, I really enjoyed the Taelons more when they were on the show and I miss all of them. The whole idea of the show was to bring them to life and I think for real life their beautiful people. I hope someday to meet real people just exactly like the great birth of all the taelons and similiar people exactly similiar again even if they're brown and black and light brown looking taelons. I've never before have been so in love with bald white men with blue eyes and white skin but since I've seen them I know it wasn't the first time I've seen them and better not be the last. I remember them from when I was a young child and growing up also, well I don't have an email address but I would like it if you contact me or get in touch with me because I have a lot of stories of the birth of their kind in some yards that which I can say similiar forms as well as their kind. | Comments: | I got into EFC around early Season 3, and I thought it was
pretty good. Then recently they started showing the first series again on Sci-Fi channel. What a difference! Boone is a much more interesting character. The 1st season makes you think more, care about the characters. The conflict between Boone and the Resistence vs Boone and his ever growing opinion of Da'an is brilliant to watch. The further I get into season 1 the more bland all the other episodes I watch seem to get. I LOVE it everytime Boone has to pretend to be devoted to the Taelons. That scene were he tells Da'an that if they ordered the death of his wife so he could better serve them was brilliant! Okay, okay i'm ranting *g* Love this site! I've been looking for some early fan fic for ages and so far, this is the best and near the only i've found. If anyone knows of any good ones out there, please feel free to mail me. Zo'or to squeeze one more season for-what could have been one of the best Sci Fi series since Star Trek!!!! For the sake of seeing Da'an, many of us would sit through about anything...it is not the fault of Gene's story, or the greatacting ability of Leni Parker and Anita La Silva, but poor writing and poor management of what could have been a great Sci-Fi thriller. The Taelon mystique is a powerful assemblage of the most beautiful aliens... how sad to see that such a great story line could have been treated with minimal proficiency... AND WILL SOMEONE FIX THAT RUBBER NECK OF DA'AN? An acute example of not caring enough for a good story with the the most intriguing of aliens Just take the money and run guys, and you did Tribune. |

It was Da'an who mesmerized us...Leni's ability to reach down into the dimorphic section of her brain and tap into her male side to structure Da'an into a believable person, is -not only fascinating- but genius on the part of an excellent actress (she reminds me of a young Joan Crawford) She made Da'an real...and the fans stayed faithful to Da'an despite some of the ridiculous dialogue we had to sit through...we found ourselves hopelessly infatuated with shim...though too talented...Anita La Silva's Zo'or character is a bit-at times-too dramatic...Leni Parker is worthy of all the credit for getting EFC started. Leni goes...so goes EFC people... however Leni is EFC. My hopes are the Da'an character does not become a former Supreme casualty (Mary Wilson pushed out by Diana Ross)...I would like to see Da'an run the Synod, rid the universe of the Jaridians, show up at my front door to take me away from it all, and kick Zo'or in the ass. |

and Da'an fans! Some people just write about her character, and it's like they don't even know there's a person, not a Taelon, underneath the shiny bodysuit and prosthetic forehead. Everybody should follow your great example! On EFC, i like when Lili plays Auger's holographic computer program, it was really funny to see her dressed up as a jeannie, a stripper (Liam was messing around with Auger's program and that's what verson of Lili he got!), a 50's housewife, and a mother that "concieved" and gave "birth" (how?!?) to the program, "little Auger". They should give Leni and Anita the chance to be that creative, (and to get out of those binding 5-layer bodysuits, they look so stiff!). And I, like Leni and Anita, want them to have guest starring spots on EFC. They could play Auger's girlfriend (he needs to get over Lili!), someone at the Flat Planet Cafe, or they could get a different perspective and play someone from the Resistance, that would be really cool, hope they get to do it! |
