Some Random Dude Wednesday, February 11th 2004 - 05:40:55 AM I've long been a fan and I guess I owe it to the lady behind the Mad Cat in the Rambutan Hat show some appreciation. Since I've declined to come forward with who I am *Thank you most graciously for not holding it against me* I'll tell the tale of how I came across the site and from there got invariably hooked. One day after getting writer's block and wondering where on earth I'd find material to discuss and talk about, I decided to run a search about Bruneians and their writing. My previous experiences with such action left me with very little and almost no expectations. However upon stumbling onto this gem of a site... I was simply left to marvel at how so many different sentiments and reactions to just the everyday life of a person there can really be. Humour, Wit, Sass & Spunk… It’s all there and it comes from the mind of a person clearly growing in stature with every little observation, misadventure/adventure. The thing that makes it a thousand times better for me is that it’s from a Bruneian… Who if I’m not mistaken is completely home grown. To know that someone out there echoes out thoughts of a similar stature to me, a self confessed displaced Bruneian, and similar contemporaries is probably the biggest reason why I keep coming back. I just hope you’ll let me for writing such a long and blasted comment. Keep up the writing… it is just magnificent. S R Dude
