She is very well behaved and very protective of her surroundings. I also have a American Bulldog named Roxie who is a wonderful dog as well. Both dogs are of very intelligent breeds. | Comments: | I have a 2 years old female, she's 95 pounds. She loves people, kids and all other kind of animal. If there are people out there thinking that a rotti is a vicious dog, well I think you are wrong. The owner who trains them are responsable for their beheviour, sur a rotti has a strong guardian instict, but even that can be tought to your dog (how to control it). My rotti switch at night from being extremely friendly towards strangers, to a guard mode (in my house only). But when a stranger enters my house after i've welcomed him, my rotti will lick him to death. I think also that to many people buy dog for their kids which I disagree TOTALY. Dogs especialy rottis are animal that require constant attention and care throughout their life! Kids CAN NOT commit to such a demanding task! Even adults have a hard time sometimes and the poor aniaml ends up at the SPCA. Anyway, one last word, rottweiler are probably one of the best breed outthere if not THE best.

he is now 5 months old and weighs 57 lbs. He is a fine dog and a good friend. He's lovable and loving but very stubborn when it comes to heeling. All other commands he does well with. I am stubborn also so I will stick withit until he learns. He responds best to kindness rather than stern commands or harsh treatment. I believe he will be a very good and faithful companion, as well as a good watch dog. Anyone having ideas on the heeling or anything else of interest please E-mail. |
