| TO: GALIT CHAIT Every year, the Israel Information Center for Latin America - CIDIPAL makes a calendar on a specific subject. The edition follows the Gregorian year (from January to December). At this calendar, all the Jewish Holidays are registered, and it is sent to national institutions in Latin America, Spain and some states in the United States (Government, Academies, Universities, Cultural Centers, etc.). This year, the calendar will be about Women in Israel, focused on women in different fields: bussiness, arts, science, sports, housewives, technology, politics, etc. We would like to count on your important participation, and in case you agree to be part of it, we would need the following items: - A short biography (no more than 10 lines) - An up-to-date photograph - A few lines, answering the following questions: 1. What are your first memories of Israel? This question points to when was the first time you realized that you were living in Israel and what was the country like at that time? 2. How do you see yourself as a woman in Israel? CIDIPAL will publish 5.000 copies to be distributed within the continent. And we'll send one copy of the calendar to each woman who participates in it. I am 99% sure I saw you practice at Bat Yam in the Summer of 1991. I saw you doing your practice routine, and you looked so graceful and natural on the ice. Then you cut your finger and your coach was not too sympathetic...he yelled at you, but I thought that despite his being tough, he wanted to make you a champion, which you are. My daughter Sara is 8 1/2 years old, and she has been skating a few times and she enjoys it. I used to skate once a week in Central Park when I lived in NY.
