A devoted fan Tuesday, December 2nd 2003 - 10:13:29 AM In response to the guy talking about the AS skit. I am a fan of the Dark Muffins, I have seen almost all of their skits, and I thought the skit was amaizing. I was awsome how hey were able to bring to life charecters from the books that I have never seen on stage. I have seen a few AS skits now and definatly think this was one of the finest if not the best. This however is not the reason I write this. I am mostly writting to say I htink it is pretty low of you to bash a group that obviously works very hard on their skits in their guest book, like you trying to start a fight that everyone can see. If you dislike the skit offer constructive critisism, not insults. Have you ever put on a skit before, I know it looks easy but from what I have heard it is hard. My friends try to orgainize skits over distance and around other peoples schedules and it is not something that can be done over night. You should appologize for the rude comment. And to the cast of Dark Muffins Ill be driving in from GA to see you at katsu, good luck

We don't do things to get awards and we had plenty of people compliment us on the performance who knew the manga. Also let the record state the it was anything but unchoreographed, and I, personally, think we did a very good job pulling it off. The point wasn't to spin around all angst-like and show emotion, it was to sum up the plot while also going along with the song lyrics. I used the term 'dramatic' in the summary since it definately wasn't a funny skit, as several others have been. But hey, I guess everyone's a critic. At least we didn't spend the whole time standing around waiting for music cues. We do our thing and if it doesn't suit everybody, so be it.

Actually, it was so chaotic and unchoreographed that those of us who read the whole manga couldn't figure out what was happening and ended up thinking it was funny, not dramatic. (Think of a traffic jam with everyone honking at once.) Less "drive-by-characters", more emotion, and a shorter timeline would have been more bearable.
