Here's a joke for the elf... let her read it.

How many members of the Bush Administration are needed to change a light bulb?

1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed or that it even ever existed.

2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed.

3. One to blame terrorists for burning out the light bulb.

4. One to spy on everyone in the world to find out if they might have something to do with switching the lights on and off so much that the light bulb burns out.

5. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for always staying in darkness.

6. One to give a billion dollar contract to Haliburton for issuing new light bulbs.

7. One to deny that light bulbs ever burn out, or if cornered into having to face the facts, to change the statistics to show that they only burn out very slowly and therefore don't need any change.

8. One to viciously threaten and smear anyone that attempts to tell the truth about light bulbs and put them in the category of being a threat to national security.

9. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how the house was literally in the dark.

10. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how the administration has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along.

11. One to arrange a photograph of Bush with a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner: " Light bulb Change Accomplished".

12. One to find out what a light bulb even is.

13. And finally one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.

I have a DVD for the elf in German that I'd enjoy her watching. I want to know if you can view DVDs that are European over there. Its highly likely that you have a DVD player, but hmmm, but... is it region free? Are the DVD players PAL compatible or should I try to copy it as a NTSC DVD? If you don't know the answers, maybe you can ask some of the local geeks. She probably doesn't know Kalkofe the comedian unless she watches German TV over there. Do you have a satellite dish that can home in on European channels?
In any case, I'm rather sure that she'd have a good time watching it. Let me know a.s.a.p. so that I know what the deal is.

I'm not familiar with that term. This page appears to have some examples though
http://www.fetco.com/cutsheets.htm
Your best bet would be to ask them exactly what they expect a cutsheet to include.

... Friday, July 8th 2005 - 06:45:26 AM
Do me a favor please... tell me what the exact definition of a "cut sheet" or "cutsheet" is. It is not in Merriam Webster online dictionary or any other dictionary that I can find.

One of the companies that we work for wants a lot of cut sheets for our machines and I have no idea what the scope of a cut sheet is (in other words, is an operating manual also a cut sheet? is a catalog page with specifications a cut sheet? Is a manual just describing maintanence procedures a cut sheet? Is a page that I have just cut into a thousand pieces a cut sheet?

Thx

On 09-12-04 at approximately 2350 hrs. I responded to a 6x (Disturbance) in the 2900 block of Del Rio Blvd.

Upon arrival I observed 3 known male street level narcotics dealers who appeared to be engaged verbally in an argument. As suggested within the statistics of probability, I determined that the verbal disagrement would have intensified and eventually turned into a physical assault by atleast one or more of the subjects.

Prior to exiting my vehicle, I contacted the warrants division via cellular telephone and was advised by the operator that the plate number on one of the vehicles was owned by xxxx xxxxx and indicated that the individual had an active warrant for prior drug related charges, assault with attempt to rob, breaking an entry and public stupidity.

As I approached the 3 individuals, ordered tem to sit on the sidewalk and to lock their fingers beind their heads.

As I searched xxx xxxxx, I removed a one folding hunters style lockblade pocketknife, a package of kleenex and an unloaded and inoperable taurus six shot 38 revolving pistol
Being that Mr. XXXXx was in violation of his probation contract and was wanted pending misc. warrants, I placed him under arrest and had him transported by Officer xx. xxxxx ofthe xxx xxxxxxx Co. Sheriff's dept. to the xxx xxxxxxx County jail until further questioning could be arranged by either the sheriff's deputies or by an alternate qualified police agency in affiliation with xxx xxxxxxx co.

While in custody of the above county, Mr. Xxxx xxxxx was released on bail by his councel. Mr. Xxxx xxxx has been appointed to appear before Xxx Xxxxx Co. court on 04-29-05 at 1430 hrs. I contacted the agency that conducted Mr. Xxxx xxxx's interview and will append their information to a copy of this report when it becomes available.

Yo Darkinator
Howzit goin?? My polewurst and I are fine.
Its cold, its winter and it should be. It is nolonger, atleast in my eyes the winter wonderland that it once was. When I was younger winter was amazing. I remember trying to preserve icecicles, building snowmen, making snowballs, and sleding when the snow was deep enough. I was facinated by the transformation that occurred after an overnight snow. I'd wake up early and scan the snow covered streets and yards. Truly it was a gift to experience such simple awe.
Now I see it in another light. Its cold, wet, and a guarantee that the roads will be a mess.
As I age I become less gifted by such simplicity and less apt to welcome trust, face value and the magic in things that are not planned. As I age I become less.

Happy winter eee

Hello there, Tripoli. How've you been? Thanks for that moving little story about the pollwurst family. I'll never look at a pollwurst in the same way again (even though I've not yet had the pleasure of laying my eyes upon one).

eee eieio Sunday, November 28th 2004 - 10:30:29 PM
Good Evening Darkosians,

Here is where I am now, and where you will be as soon as you read this. How deep is that? I want to be an American fillosofor
Philosaphou.. Critical Thinker.

My pollwurst and me. By EEE.
One cold winter day in a land far away, I tought I'd stop and get a pollwurst and warm myself on wooden bench a mile or so from a tall pine tree. After receiving my order, I sat down and unwrapped the wurst, the best wurst that Stadtwurst had to offer. I began to bite into it when suddenly it were as if it had spoke to me. Well I've attende some pretty weird parties in my day, and yeah, I'd left one shortly before I sat down with my pollwurst, But heay man this is by far the strangest thing I had ever seen. Then it was confirmed when I looked right at it and it did it again. It said. You see to you I am only a lowly pollwurst, a mere snack to hold you over until you get home to eat dinner. But ya see sir, as low as I am, Ive got feelings too. I have a son and daughter and a wife in that snack wagon just waiting to be removed with tongs, tossed onto a bun and devoured. What kind of person are you to just buy me for 2 bucks and end my existance just to satisfy your gluttony? dammit what kinda person... I demand an answer. There is a dam good frauwurst and 3 kinderwurst counting the moments til their demise. He went on to explain how helpless he felt as he was being lifted with the tongs off the oven roller as his children screamed and pleaded, Please daddy, please dont go. Well I began to weep alittle though I tried not to show it. Then I had a thought. "You just wait here for a second" I said to the poor depressed poll wurst. Then I went bck to the order window and said, How much for the whole lot of wursts on your grill? Well thelady looed at me like I was nuts and said $20.00. "I,ll take it I said" And soon she loaded each and every wurst into thebag. returning to the sad wurst that Ihad almost eaten, I said hey, I have a litte somthing for ya. Man you sould have seen the look on his face when He saw thebag of wursts in my hand. He jumped outta thebun and landed smack-dab into thebag with his lived ones. I am happy to report that the pollfamily is doing great and the youngest has just started school. ou can them see them from time to time when they travel with their polestadt circus, why they've even been on the oprah winfry show. I'll keep ya posted on the pole family as information comes my way. but be forewarned theyve pretty much reached star status in europe and keeping up with them can be quite a job. Bye for now EEE

I do not plan much, because I recognize the fact that I may very well not be here tommorrow. It is however important to plan for a future though, otherwise, because it was not planned, it might not come into existence.

The very first sequence of Star Wars Episode 1, where the Jedi Knights are talking to each other fits very well here.

Sure there's understanding there for the entropy, but not for the imperativeness of a person who should be on the same level as self. In other words, she had absolutely no right to transgress neurosis on me. Sure, we've had arguments, but this wasn't an argument on her part, it was a monologue.

withdrawing from Inana... unfortunately she's becoming a bit blind as to the manifestation of my presence and what its purpose is. It's highly likely she won't come over with me on 05 sept vacation with you and the elf. I had to disconnect from her as of a few weeks ago, because she even threatened me (I was stunned) for a very peculiar and unworthy reason, even though I had been supporting her in the same form of matters all along. This year I had even bought her a sports car to show her my appreciation.
There's a wise saying on such matters:
shit happens.

Charley was hardly noticeable here. It was Bonnie that came with a vengeance. Even spawned a tornado not too far from where I work, apparently. Maybe that's why the sky was so spectacularly dark and thundry, and such a downpour of rain.

The air was pink. No rose-colored glasses. The sky does that sometimes before twilight.

What kind of energetical changes?

... Tuesday, August 17th 2004 - 10:56:53 AM
A lot of things are happening over here at the moment.
So many energetical changes. Yeah... those vibrations...
no... I haven't taken anything... but yeah, I can feel it.

I heard charley was bitching a bit south of you, hope your shingles hold tight.

What maxe the air pink? The LSD, or your glasses? Or did some nuclear power plant change a little of the O2?

Pray that the pachyderm gets lost, otherwise it's probably going to be Australia that I eventually head towards instead of the hawaiian area.

Hi there, Lady! Ah, these conversations with 4-month gaps in them, hehe... give love and take care

ladyFry Thursday, May 6th 2004 - 10:19:17 AM
yes, Martin and I had a long talk and he explained why he
approached me under a false name. I was mad at him at first. But he had his reasons! his reocord company has to release the single that we're doing the video for. we cant
do the video if people dont even know the song exists!
Martin is a very nice guy. He is a little weird... I had
dinner with him and his tour manager. Martin would not stop
fidgeting, stay still in his seat! He was all over the place; i thought it was really strange...

I prefer Martin when he isn't acting all 'pop star-ish'.
its like he was has a second personality! He gets really
vain and egoistic when he portrays himself as Martin
Fry the pop star. I like just the regular everyday version
of himself. He is really fun to hang out with and to talk
to. He's like a second father to me! well, got stuff to do...

I've just been too tired to climb up on that thar soap box... what's with people always bringing up the Communists in order to try to taint any group they don't like... as if Communism on its own is evil incarnate when it's always the same old problem, no matter what label people do it under, people touting some lofty ideals and then not following them and just doing things for their own benefit instead. Patriotism! The Motherland! Democracy! Freedom! Family Values! Socialism! Equality! The Fatherland! Wipe out Poverty! Communism! Obliterate the Terrorists! Godliness! The Homeland! Repress the Insurgents! Destroy the Infidels! Blah blah blah. Oops. Guess I dragged myself up onto the box after all.

What the hay??? The green party Rocks??? Oh my goodness gracious!! Havent you read the commie manafesto? Have you never watched "I led 3 lives"?? While youre out organizing a save the forest march, the party will be organizing a way to gain control on the citizens of our country. The green has had their consentration camps ready to go for over a year and a half now. They've already gained control of our government (oops I mean public) schools and colleges aka re-thinking camps. where they teach that everyones equal and were all the same (Of course they dont wanna teach individualizm) you know the old saying Democrats may be brats and republcans may be rich, but one thing i can say for sure the green have a commie motive and blah blah.. You know the old saying and Im not gonna insult your inellegence by writing it out. Im just saying that a a vote for the gren is a vote for the red... Notice how these people always have to pick colors for their party?? So whats the deal? why does it have to be red or green Christmas colors. Awaiting your reply your friend on the other side tripolee aka the patriot!!!`

well, if you had gone to google and searched on darkoshi, then gone to one of the livejournal hits, you could have found my lj page, which has a link to my site. heh. is that so difficult?
but you see, i was purposely trying to make my new site a bit harder to find just by searching on "darkoshi", and that's why i'm not indexing most of the pages with the searchengines.
So, ..., did you get my emails sent on 15th and 17th of Feb or should I resend?

... Friday, February 27th 2004 - 04:14:26 AM
to add a little to the topic below...
when its winter, when my car just went down a hill that it shouldn't have, when it topples over and when my car is upside down in a creek and I have my head under ice cold water and have to fight to get my seat belt off... that scares me a little...
or when I've just hit 200 km an hour, a tunnel appears and while I'm passing, some idiot decides that he needs to squeeze himself between two lanes to the right that are already full. That scares me a little bit.

I wasn't able to access my t-online account for quite a while, so now you know why you hadn't got any reply. As an alternative you can have mine at work. Use that stupid legal name of mine at Seidenader point de and I'll get the message at work. Noone has access to my account there. And no, I couldn't find your site by searching, I had searched quite a lot.

*Really*, Lady Fry ??? No joking?? What was he like? Did you get along well, other than the deception part? If you end up being in a video, you have to let me know so I can watch it. Post the photo if you can, too, eh?

the Fry Sunday, January 11th 2004 - 12:49:55 PM
what scares me? meeting Martin Fry while I am having a busy
night at work! What scares me? finding that he deceived me
for years, he has been e-mailing me under a different name!
what really scares me the most? learning that he is very fond of me and came all the way from England just to see me. now that it is all said and done; what is in store for
us now?

NEway, now that i have met him in person... He asked me to
be in his next music video! I agreed to it. I think he went
overboard to ask me to join his band! I am not even a musician or professional vocalists. I had to decline! He was a bit disappointed. I brought him back to my home and
got him to sign my ABC poster hanging on my wall. I got
my picture taken with him [his manager took the pic]. Then
we spent some time alone! We sang 'Cruising' by Smokey Robinson together. then he asked me if i wanted to dance!
I picked out the song 'As The World Falls Down' by david
bowie for us to dance to. By then it was pretty late and he
went back to his hotel... Now he has returned home!

darkoshi Sunday, January 11th 2004 - 12:39:57 AM
well, look at that. my bravenet website is gone.
am i upset?
did they ever warn me that they would be terminating their mybravenet hosting? no, they didn't.
am i upset?
no, i'm not upset.
well, perhaps a bit.
the only issue with putting my site elsewhere is getting the search engines to re-index the few pages which were worth having indexed. who knows how long that will take or if it will even happen.
but does it really matter? i suppose not.

what else scares me? people do.

what else? heights.

what scares you?

dark Saturday, January 10th 2004 - 02:00:17 AM
topic of the... day? week? timeperiod?

What scares you? Or would scare you?

me... driving on interstates with crowded, fast-moving traffic.
it leaves me shaky afterwards, like coming down from an intense life-and-death concentration... like being in shock.
the last time i noticed this, i wasn't able to focus on anything, not enough to read a paragraph and make sense of it. i could scan the words, but not keep my attention on them. my mind was still jumping. once some time had passed, and my nerves settled, then i was able to read, pay attention, and understand.

being in an aircraft taking off...
not a large fear, but it is there. yet it is more a fun fear than a bad one. one can be afraid, and enjoy the excitement of it, the possibility of the plane breaking up... feeling the acceleration... it is out of my hands anyway, so i can just lean back and enjoy the thrill. not like being on the interstate, where i have to stay in control of the car.

i'd hate to live in a place like that, where women and men are treated so differently. i don't really consider myself a woman or a man, so how would i manage in such a place? but i think change needs to come from within their own society. like you say, they wouldn't accept outsiders telling them how to do things.

eee Thursday, January 1st 2004 - 09:14:28 PM
You're right, It's the Talibahn (I cant spell that word) I was thinking of that are so anti-woman. "My Bad" as they say out in the west. And yes, both the Iraqi's and the Talibahn treated their woman like animals, well before 911. I've long been aware that they were like that, but I guess I didnt know it was to that extreme. I knew a Lady who was , I guess in her late 30's and married to a man who was atleast 60. She said her parents arranged the marrage before she was 5. Ages may be off here and there but you get point. She seemed completely devoted to him, but I couldnt help thinking that she, at some point in her life wondered what it must be like, or what it would have been like to have a voice in her marrage, or even in who she married. But then I guess if I were to express my opinion, or campagne against their way of doing things in their country, I would be out of line and the whole country would think I was crazy talking such nonsense. The way their men treat women there is a fact of life. Cheers EEE

did you hear the stories about how some Iraqi women were saying that at least under Saddam, they could go out and get things done on their own and they were "safe" from harrassment. but now, or at least a few months ago when i was hearing this, it was so bad that the women couldn't go out alone. because of there being no law in the streets, and there being lawless groups kidnapping women and selling them into slavery. don't know how true that is, but the people speaking made it sound like it really was that bad. hopefully some law and order has been reinstituted by now.

don't mix the afghan Taliban up with the Iraqis, Tripoli. The Taliban made women wear burqas. In Iraq, there was no law that made women cover their heads. And the Taliban wore turbans (but so do Sikhs who aren't Taliban and who aren't even Muslims), but I think most Iraqi men don't.

And the Taliban were oppressing women a long long time before 9-11, but it never became an "important issue" to the US government until they wanted to invade Afghanistan. And now that the U.S. got rid of the Taliban, they don't seem to care that under the new government, women there are still being oppressed and still generally have to wear the burqa to avoid harrassment.

Im not allowing any females in home to go outside with a designated male representative. Woman get my slippers and wash my turban! Where is your borqua woman?? your body and face are disgraceful. indeed yo ho and a bottle of rumba rum.

and tripoli, when someone throws a rock through your window, it doesn't make much sense to track down the person who did it and then break their NEIGHBOR's windows, you know, just because you don't like their neighbor much lately, even though you're the one who helped them build their house, complete with the barbed wire fence. i mean, if you have a problem with that neighbor, then be honest about that and don't say well i'm getting back on YOU because of my broken window when they didn't have anything to do with that broken window. and if you can't even get your neighborhood to agree with you on your planned actions, maybe it isn't such a good idea either, because eventually you have to still live with the rest of your neighbors too and they won't trust you after you go throwing random rocks at people just because you don't like them anymore. and maybe you ought to be more careful in the first place about whom you help with putting up barbed wire fences in their yard. and you can't expect people to believe in your sincerity about only having broken that neighbor's windows because that neighbor was a bad person, when you then break into the house and steal all their stereo equipment and furniture. and you can't expect people to not question your motives when you make it so that the only contractors that the neighbor's family can hire to replace their broken windows are ones whom you approve of, and when you charge them for the cost of the rocks you threw and when you install a permanent extension cord going from their power supply into your own yard so that you'll get free electricity at their cost. and you can't expect people to like you when you drive a tank through their house's walls, and the wall falls down and kills the five children who were sleeping inside, and when you then say, "oh, those kids shouldn't have been playing inside the house of a known enemy of mine. it's their own fault they died."

oh, and mr. annoying person on the AM radio, who thinks the number one campus folly of the year was the college which instituted a special dormitory for trans people and people questioning their gender... fuck you, you stupid fuck!

ah, i feel much better now, having gotten that off my chest. hope i didn't offend anyone.

I Guess there's not point in arguing our opposite views. Nobody anywhere agrees or looks forward to, or enjoys war. Unless he/she has some sort of unresolved mental issue. If on the other hand a person for whatever reason winds up in a conflict, and comes out of it unscared, will find that something inside happens (Not to everyone but some) At first you might just figure, Hey, I can justify this, it came down to me or them. Then later(After everyone thinks your fine and dandy) Feelings of guilt can surface. If given a choice, I dont think anyone would agree with the situation in Iraq. But who has a choice? Im not anti Liberal, Like I said in the past, I hope that I can be a liberal again someday. If someone stood on your sidewalk and threw frozen bags of pis through your window and one of them killed a loved one and they swore they'd be back to finish the job, What ja gonna do? Well for starters, you'd have to track down their sources of pis and distroy it. Then you'd have to issue them an ultimatum to either stop or suffer the conciquences. If they didnt stop, ya certainly cant back down, cause they've made it clear that they want to rumble. Well you could just stand there but it wouldnt do ya any good, would it? Really, I dont think anyone would look forward to having a war, or spending a year or more away from their families in a foriegn country, unless they had some sort of problem. I do however respect the views of others ( not that it matters) and I think they are necessary. Peace dude

Remembering this freaks me out. Asleep in a ditch but not fully, but as asleep as I would expect to get. I heard the echo of whatever generated a cracking lightening sound. Then I felt a sharp chill run down my spine. Suddenly I heard people talking as their feet stomped through the weeds a few feet from my ditch. They were shining their flash lights up in the trees, through the weeds compeletly unaware of my presents. I remember thinking that someone was going to fire on them because they had completly exposed their positions. I remember praying that if someone did, they would use something small like a rifle or a rock or a stick or something because there was so little distance between us and anything else was gonna blend me into the soup with them. For some reason I thought that if I made my self stay asleep, the whole thing would just pass. But there was activity and someome did something and everything just happened, just materialized without any effort or realization I was just involved. I dont even remember climbing out of the ditch or even what possessed me to climb out. After the event had passed, and Im still not clear what the event was. My rifle had 3 rounds left in it and it was blistering hot and I swear I dont recall ever squeezing the trigger even once, or even recall holding it. What little landscape there was, was charred. The truck they drove (I guess) was on fire and you could smell rubber burning, I couldnt remember which ditch was my home for the night, and there were small grass fires everywhere I looked. I threw-up drank some water. I betcha your brain secretes some kinda chemical when you reach a certain level of fear. For a couple of minutes, I swear I could hear my heart beating, and trying to calm down before they heard it. The rest of it is just a vague memory, exactly like trying to remember a nightmare or dream that really interested you.

ya know, tripoli... i might argue with ya, if i could figure yer meanin... not a bad tactic though. if anyone tries arguing with me against vegetarianism, i could say something like "well the cows on the moon don't like it when the people start eating the grass and the cats go walking on the sidewalks." heh. what's yer comeback to that, yer flesheaters?

Wazzant it I who said to just forgive and forget? Lets just let Saddam insane go and let him run his country as he sees fit. But ya know what? I like a lotta folks beleive Bush is really something different. Somethin squeeky about this guy, eh? like why'd he take soooo long to get control of Iraq??? Not afraid to come off as poilticaly incorrect now izzhe? Or were there certain people he wanted to account for before the first strike? Hummm, I also wonder why he let the islamic faith be practiced and taught in his country. After all all of the isllamafaschist's were conected to this on the local front. Kinda fishy ifen ya ask me. And why does he still insist the borders remain open at all times? Especially during a "war" unquote. Hmmm.. Lets see now, If I were incharge of a country that was being attacked would I want to risk the lives of my citizens by keeping the gate open?? Why does he insist beyond all advise from his advisors that he continue to provide medical care and housing and food programs to undocumented persons, even if it creates a crisis in his own people(Boy do I have a story for on this one) and bring his County hospitals to financial ruin. Hmmm... wazzup with that?

Re: Geranium Crystal (Fun with)

The electrons are the "Forbidden Zone" or as people in the ukrain and various regions of the Dekotas refer to as the erronious zone. You see Dark, what is taking place here is a simple, yet prime example of our inability to grasp finatious insurmountability. When the electrons (Elementry particles) in the procedure jumped from their non-conductive landing to a conductive landing, they did about all they (Electrons) can do. They moved to a path of lesser resistance. So in saying what I just said, we can now say that it could be said that the non-conductive landing was of no importance. If the experiment began on a non-conductive landing then the experience had not yet began. The young student might as wellhave said, "At the start of my experiment, I got in my car and drove to te campus and entered the lab." Who cares? This is of no relevance. My first question is this. Were the elements charged? One can only assume they were if the student was expecting to measure the value within them. It's was silly little events like this that drove me from the security of my position as Professor back when I headed up the Biology department at Harvard. The crap these people are putting on our students defies all reason and frankly it sickens me.
Please have a Merry Holiday season and lets do what we can to flush these red diaper, pot smoking communist bastards from their positions at our great American teaching institutions. Stop the Brainwash!!!! Stop the Commie properganda!!!! and have a merry Christmas.

I was reading your reply about naming a kid Wolfgang. I (I think that was you) remember you saying that you lived in Munchen uber alles. If youre american you probably lived in (I fergit the name) the american housing area.Former Intel myself. I just happen to expertly and professionally trained to pick up on these things. (its a big one, dont try to understand it. So in remembering wolf and munchen I remembered a website about the am housing area in munich and something about a wolf, or a man that turns into a wolf when he needs to. Probably a gothic thing. You may be able to find it if you search Domain of shatersberg or maybe schatterburg, something like that. You'd probably dig it. I'll try to search it out later and if I find it, I'll leave you the information on this board. Haste-lambego EEE
