Thanks for your comment. The price depends on your age. Our last IMSS payments were in October 2009 (more than three years ago; we now live in New Zealand), Andrew's price was MX$627.60, which works out at the time (more than 13 pesos per US dollar) to less than US$50. Andrew was age 27. My cost, at age 53, was MX$2133.80, which works out to a little less than US$165. The average of our two costs work out to around US$107. Thanks again for your comment. | Comments: | No way that the IMSS insurance only runs 110 USD a year. The last time I had it which was 3 years ago it was more than 700 USD a year. |

Good luck in Guadalarja. Many great places to see. By sure you get out to the tourist land of lake Chapala, and a big day trip to Agua Calientes. By the way, those VWs in Mex aare not 40 years old, They may be as young as 6 years old. The last bug, or as the mexicans call them "vocho". June 2003 the last one rolled off the assembly line.
