| Comments: | Hi John,
I found your website from your demo on WetCanvas. This is a wonderful site and I will be back often. I have dabbled with painting since I was a youngster but it was always with oil or acrylic. Frankly, I always found watercolour more than slightly daunting. My wife and I watched a wonderful film about Beatrix Potter ("Miss Potter") and, well, the bug bit. My daughter gave me a gift set of watercolours this past Christmas so I hauled them out and made a stab at it. I will send you a scan of the result, I would really appreciate your opinion of my fisrt efforts. Cheers, Dave |

| Comments: | Thanks for the website. Can use all the help and encougement I can find. Will return often to see what's new. Generally I am more plein air, and am a real fan of the "California Style" watercolor art. However, do am a true fan of any and all watercolor, and possibly acrylic, in the future. (Need more experience in acrylic before I can make that decision for myself - though I do love the work of others!). Thank you again for the site. |

| Comments: | I just wanted to say that I happened upon your technique for painting a metallic teapot and thought it was lovely. As an artist myself I have to disagree with you that the teapot alone is not suitable for someone's wall. Almost all of my paintings and drawings are of simple objects and your teapot would be lovely on someone's wall.
I happened upon your technique, although I rarely use watercolors, and found it very helpful to see how you produced the effect. I was out searching the net because next year I have a large one man show in Bangalore, India and still life's will be included, although I use mostly oils. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you do beautiful work. Take care, Michael |

| Comments: | I enjoyed your website very much. Especially your comments about Frisket - what a pain, I have to say I wish I had read your comments before I tortured myself so.
I am also trying the negative space technique and find it challenging to say the least. Your sampling really looks like fun and I am tempted to go and try it right now. I found your site when looking for comments about watercolor paper and preferences. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with everyone. |

| Comments: | Hi John - love the website - neat idea to have the little video on the home page.
Have bookmarked it into my favourites as I want to use the techniques for reference - I know I can learn from them - I mean your wonderful teaching at the WC meet helped me produce a great piece of work and I thank you for that. You are one of the true gentlemen of this world and I am privileged to know you - keep up the good work. LUGGLES Pat x |

| Comments: | Painting watercolor brings us the most valuable and cherished friendships. Having that clean, white rectangle thumb it's nose at us and dare us to paint something of consequence upon it gives artists something in common something that binds us together in a way that no other endeavor can. Thank you for being our friend |
