My band's youtube (wheat inspired, many of the songs)

http://youtube.com/countingtheraindrops

Wheat has changed my life forever. The first song I heard was Raised Ranch Revolution back in 2007, which I instantly fell in love with. Ultimately, I forgot about them. Two years later, the summer of 2009, I found myself humming the song and repeating the line "some things can't be ironed out" to myself. (which applied to how things were going for me at the time) I realized I was singing Raised Ranch Revolution, by Wheat, a band I knew nothing about. I listened to previews of Hope and Adams on iTunes, loving every track I heard. I immediatley went online and bought the Hope and Adams/Medeiros/30 Minute Theatrik reissue. Hope and Adams has become my favorite Indie and Lo-Fi album of all time. Medeiros shimmers with melancholy beauty. 30 Minute Theatrik is a remarkably amazing collection of demos. Wheat is better than anything mainstream nowadays... they are and always will be my favorite indie band. Thank you, Wheat, for changing my life. c: <3 (I just bought Per Second, Per Second, Per Second...Every Second -- incredible.)

Hi. I would love to get a copy of the Nude version of Per Second, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I'd also love to get some of the other demos and rarities that used to be available on this site. Thanks, paramnida.

Unfortunately the lottery numbers still haven't fallen my way, so living 250km's from the most isolated capital city in the world ( Perth, Western Australia) means the chances of seeing wheat* live is about ...ZERO!!! BUT, as long as they keep releasing great music I cant complain!!

Hey chaps, I'm coming to see you at Luminaire in London tonight and can't wait! Have tried to catch you for the last 5 or 6 years but always find out you've been in the Uk too late! Not tonight though! Good luck with the show and if I meet you, I'll buy you all a beer! Glenn Mason

you guys are hard to track down! in my humble opinion it is about time you came back to Europe. AB club in Brussels would probably be glad to have you back and for me it'd be just a short walk down town...until that day I'll just keep humming along to closer to mercury.
