| Comments: | Just got an email from someone I used to work with asking if I had started a gospel group. She said there was a bus in the Conroe area with my name on it. I live between Conroe and Montgomery. I thought she was kidding me till I looked you up on line. I emailed her back and told her that just like me you are a fine looking woman! Well, except I have spiked hair (my husband talked me into it) a nose ring, and four tattoos. No I'm not a punk rocker, I'm a Mom of three and a grandmother of four. My oldest son is a HPD officer who works with the 'most wanted' criminals, my daughter has horses and cattle and my youngest son is a ComTech for ATT. I guess you could call me a free spirit. Robert Swinea is a childhood friend of mine; even though we didn't keep in contact as adults. I'd spend time with my grandmother during the summer vacation from school, attending Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with her. Robert and I spent many Sunday School classes together growing up. Sadly, my family informed me that Robert was killed in a car accident at the end of July. Although we hadn't kept in touch, it was like losing another piece of my childhood. | Comments: | dear debbie, I have a photo of you and your husband when you attended rockport music festival. Also, there was a group that attended who were David's Song. Well they gave me the photo to place in the album I am making for them of their travels across the states. They haven't made it across the country yet, but give em time and they will.to make a long story short I was wondering if you would be interested in sending a letter to me so I can place it in their book for them. I am almost finished with the first book and made the mistake of letting them see some of the pages. This is a fine group of men who really love the Lord, I think they would rather be singing and praising the Lord instead of what they have to do during the week. I have been able to attend several of their concerts since they came to the church I attend in March. Also, I have become good friends with Dave's wife Wanda. She's a treasure and the bus momma as david says. You can write anything you want to them and I promise I will put it in the book. after this one I have already planned to continue with a 2nd book. I want to present this to them on fathers day weekend. A surprise that wanda and i are planning.

| Comments: | Did you notice a flaw last Christmas? The store employees were not allowed to say "Merry Christmas". Their reasoning? "Christ is offensive to some of our customers." Christ has been removed from many things, but CHRISTmas? What does this teach our children? Is it okay to go where Christ is denied as long as we get the gift we want? Do our children know it is Christ's birthday? Does the world? Have you ever forgotten about the pumpkin pie and baked a birthday cake for Christ? Hung Happy Birthday banners instead of Happy Holidays? Can Christ be impressed with our promotion of a jolly, round, bearded man with flying reindeer? Our children sit on his lap and ask for toys. Have we ever taught them to sit on the edge of their bed and ask Christ to send toys to someone who has never had one? We, as the body of Chirst, spend millions every Christmas. Let's stand together this Christmas and give the greatest gift of all. A free gift. The gift of getting down on our knees, requesting the presence of Jesus Christ, and praying for the salvation of every person we know (friend, family or foe - for Christ desires they all come to Him). That's it! No money spent in the stores. Christ Matters! So, if you feel a need to buy your mother that beautiful necklace, STOP; put it down, and give the money to charity. Then, give your mother the Pearl of great price by putting your knees to the floor and praying to the Lord to save or bless her with his grace and love instead. If we, as the body of Christ, put all of the money we spend at Christmas into a single fund, we could feed every survivor crushed by the tsunami, or rebuild every house destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Would it really be too difficult for us to let go of the human created version of Christmas for one year to focus on doing something Christlike? Just one year? One. Show love to the One who is Love. 1 John 16-19

Hope you're doing well. We're doing well here. Just did another trip to Mexico the end of March/first of April. We took the church bus. Me, Tony, Preacher David, his daughter Alicia, Ray Triplett, two of Tony's sisters, one of his brothers, and a man from another church. We had a great time. We built 7 pews and got the two bathrooms ready for the water/sewer coming through (bought the water tank, two sinks, two tolits and had them installed by a local plumber). Noe & Dahlia will be able to move soon. On Wednesday we had a dedication service. Pastor David preached from Acts 2. The Lord really blessed. We had a meal after church. Everything was good..no one got sick! Then this past Sunday, another one of Tony's sisters and brother-in-law got saved at Covenant! Fruit for the labor! Let us hear from you.
