| Comments: | I just bought an Australian Shepherd. He is 8 weeks old. He is blk and white with some tan. He's extremely bright, and playful and sweet. My concern is, will he eventually get along with my older dog(she's 7 , and is half Chow, half Retriever. She's exceptionally good natured, but the little guy bit her tail, so she's not too crazy about him right now); I also have 3 cats. One is 9, one is 8 and the youngest is 5. They are short haired. The youngest is tabby looking. They all get along great together, with my older dog(it did take time though). I just want to know, if they will all be one happy family again in time? I hate to think of any of them as unhappy, upset...yet it's hard right now. They all either run from my little guy(whose name is Luke)or they hiss, and try to hit him(they are declawed, because they are in side cats; we once lived in the city, we now live in the country)

Sometimes in a blue moon you can find a breeder that is so ethical and morally correct in their breeding practices that they become one of the chosen few that you will keep in contact with. You are such a person. Have got 2 of the world's most wonderful Shelties from you (Catlin Rose and Anastacia) and now a perfect Aussie called Indi I would like to publicaly thank you for sticking to your guns on how you breed, what you breed for and of course that fabulous temperment. I have seen your kennel and your dogs and will tell anyone that asks exactly what I think of them, if fact I think I will tell you and world now. If anyone wishes to contact me for a refenece for Debbie and her kennel please do so. I will tell you about the quality of care and love that is lavished on each and every single one of them. It's rare to find a breeder that doesn't think money is the reason for breeding, some see just those dollar signs in front of their eyes, you my friend see the best that can come out of Aussie's and Shelties. pups on Sept. 28/99. Out of that litter I have gotten my companion "Riggs". My whole family just adores this big pup. He is absolutely gorgeous ( but so are all of the dogs you have.) I have been a major collie lover for years. then a rescue aussie came into my life. he is so wonderful. Then the lady I got him from wanted to know if i would be interested in his brother. He has 2 major points towards his championship, has his obed. title, and is a licensed therapy dog. I want to finish his championship and also use him for stud. Do you have any advice on what direction I should go? I have always thought that herding dogs were the best. Now i have decided on raising and showing aussies. They are such an awesome breed. is exceptional. I was absolutly pleased with the temperments and health of her children(a.k.a. her dogs) Ever since I met Debbie and her dogs, It has now become a dream of mine to own an Aussie. I believe to be a responsible dog owner is to love and care for a dog like you would to a child. I was raised with German Shepherds and I have seen many dogs neglected and abused dogs and it just sickens me to actually think someone could do such a thing to a wonderful animal. A dog becomes what you make it so I urge you, if you become an owner make sure you know what you are doing and what you want. P.S NEVER PUT YOUR DOG IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK UNLESS CRATED SAFELY!
