Comments:I just found this page so my coments may be outdated but this site is AWESOME. I loved Defiant Comics (I bought all their issues when they first came out and I still morn their loss to this day.) and I loved this trip down memory lane, not to mention the chance to FINALLY read The Good Guys #1.5 and Glory #0. As well as some great looks into what might have been. It is great both to relive my favorite time in comic book collecting and get some actual material I haven't read before. Thank you so much for creating this site.

Comments:Hi Defiant1 - I'm so glad to see that your website is back. What a fantastic Christmas present! I managed to find Jim Shooter's e-mail address a few weeks ago and asked him what's happening with Daring Comics or any future publications.
He said "DARING evolved into another project by circuitous paths. Been working on it for two years, writing stories to be released through several media this upcoming year. I'll let you know when it's available. Thanks for your interest."

a site dedicated to defiant and broadway comics.keep up the good work.have you tried to contact Jim Shooter for an interview and news?
i am very tired that every time someone try to build a new comics universe(defiant, broadway but also ultraverse) they dont last more than a few years each :(
have you seen what's happening to crossgen?
why american readers want read only marvel and dc comics??

Comments:I'm a huge DEFIANT comics fan. My favorite title (even though I liked all of them) was 'The Good Guys'. I even got a letter printed in an issue. Anyway, this is the most thorough, and about the only website dedicated to DEFIANT. I really miss those titles. I bought just about every DEFIANT item I could get my hands on. I noticed the various DEFIANT related publications page, and I have quite a few of the magazines on that page, but not all of them. Now I can try and find some of the ones I don't have. I have some things that aren't listed on the page. I'll list a few of them here:
Defiant video.
Arena Magazine #14, November 1993 w/Defiant cover and large article.
Arena Magazine (don't know the #) w/Good Guys b&w promo.
Comics Journal # 171, September 1994.
Defiant Universe Poster, Defiant pencil, t-shirt, and logo pin.
Comics Buyers Guide # 1029 from Aug. 6, 1993: Good Guys Promo (Previews Ad), full page Warriors of Plasm ad, Comicfest '93 ad (Defiant info included).
Comics Buyers Guide (Large Defiant article, don't know the exact issue, but I have it).
Defiant Newsletter from Chicago ComiCon '94.

I have some other stuff, too. I'm actually going through my house and trying to put all of those things together. Out of all the previous listed items, the Comics Journal is the only negative one. It has an article about Jim Shooter, and it's not very nice. It's not really about Defiant, it's about Jim Shooter himself. I'm glad that Good Guys #1.5 is on this site to view. I have the Preview issues, but I was hoping that the book would be published, but it never made it out. It's nice to have it all in one place to see. Icarus was my favorite character, so I particularly enjoy that story. I hope someday the Defiant Universe is resurrected for all of us fans again.

Comments:Dang! Dinna know there were still Defiant fans left!

I used to pencil the Good Guys #4-#10...

Aha! No #10? Yep it was drawn and colored but never hit the stands but we did a great job on it.

Hope to contribute to keep the Defiant name a-goin'.

Comments:I'm a huge Jim Shooter and Defiant fan. I'm thrilled to finally find a sight devoted to it, especially one as ambitious as this one. I hope this site keeps growing. I'ld love to see more visuals and articles to the things listed and if you could get some unpublished artwork on the web it would be awesome beyond words (I saw Georges Jeanty at a convention a few years ago and he still had ALL the pages to the Dogs of War #6, he may have sold them by now but you never know). Good Luck.

Comments:Defiant comics, like Malibu's "Ultraverse", is one of the greatest lost comic universes ever. But Defiant is my personal favorite, it is awesome stuff.
