Thoughly enjoyed your concert in Wallaroo, its just so great you get out in the country and not just the cities. Would love to be in Melbourne next Saturday to see the filming of the DVD. I have been a big fan of the delltone for many years only being 27 years old I have not missed a concert in 20 years, also being in the delltones fan club as a child the delltones has been a bid inspiration for me growing up and to see them 50 years later and to see them again in Adelaide and to see that they are just as good as they where when I first seen them is just wonderful. We've just got home from your Mount Gambier concert and I'd like to say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you.". "Diggin' with The Delltones" was the second record I ever bought(Elvis was the first the previous Saturday). We went to England in 1969 and every time I've seen The White Cliffs of Dover in the last 40 years I've sung "There'll be Bluebirds....". Every time. Took along my friend Barbara who is recovering from cancer surgery and you made her night, especially when you sang Barbara Ann. I have been a stalwart fan of the Delltones for many years. ALAS your performance at Seagulls on Wednesday 4th June, 2008 was very disappointing to four fans who moved twice within the auditorium so as to get a better sound reception. The problem being, your sound was turned up so high that none of us could hear those brilliant voices with some clarity. The fantastic base tones were lost in a sound bashing. I think you should consider changing your sound effects technician. If the sound had been lower, we would have enjoyed the performance. So sadly, you have four disappointed fans who paid $ 35 each for an expectation of something better. Jon.

Westside Performing Arts Centre - Shepparton - Friday 9 May 2008. What an absolutely BOPA DOO WOP concert!!! We rocked till we dropped. A fantastic and very entertaining show. I came from Argentina 8 months ago to marry my husband, Jeff. We are all very fond of rock, rockabilly and all the "beauties" of the 60's. When we knew the band was going to perform in Bunbury, close to our home (just 100 kms. away :), we didn't even had to think of it. We not only enjoyed an unforgettable night but I loved The Deltones since then on. Their music is part of our every day life.It is delicious and brings beautiful memories. My dad started taking me to concerts when I was in primary school, he was a drummer in his early days and just loved music, everywhere we went he'd be tapping out a beat, whistling a tune or trying hard to do Peewee's bass notes.. - now I'm still hooked decades later, wish he was still around to see the 50 years, he never missed a Warrnambool concert! I saw you when I was 17 and again this time round...20 years later and took the kids as well. Great show both times. We all had a fantastic time and the kids (11 years old) now scream every time they hear one of your songs on the radio and crank it to full volume. This was at least my fifth show and my husband's first as he isn't into concerts. He loved the show and was bopping along. We can't wait for them next one. I've always loved The Delltones and am glad I've converted my hubby. Keep on rocking and doowopping guys. The world needs more feel good, fun music!!

My dad bought tickets for hubby and I years ago and we loved it so we took him tonight to celebrate his 65th birthday and we all loved it again. Hey guys went to your show in Bunbury last night, awesome performance! Even if us Bunburyites did keep forgetting to sing along in the right spots hahaha! When I was 15, my friend bought me "bop till ya drop" as a 'joke' birthday present, which backfired when I loved it! I'm now 25, love you guys, and have my gf loving you too! Fine threads on stage it was lovely to see you all as I was so close this time. Unfortunately, your Instruments were too loud and I didn't hear your terrific harmonies until the very last 2 or 3 songs. I spoke to your main sound Man. Who told me that he couldn't control that from his Panel. Pee Wee no problem at all hearing you as you could imagine. Just wish that the drums and guitars were a bit quieter that night. Hi guys!! I got on your site today and noticed your are coming back to Rockhampton. I started going to your concerts when I was about 16. Every time you came to Rocky I never missed a concert. Last year I took my 11 year old daughter and her friend for her birthday for the first time. Needless to say, they LOVED it. I told her today that you were coming back. I have the most excited daughter on the face of this planet. Your concerts are and will be memories that I will cherish forever. Hi peewee and all the guys. Well my family and i have been to a few of your concerts in canberra and the one you did in Ipswich last year and i don't know if you remember Merve but you gave my son Joshua your set of drum sticks that you played on the night we met you all out the back after the show i do hope that you do remember us, anyway peewee you hoped that you might be able to come back to ipswich again this year do you know if this will be happening or not? as i have looked at your tour dates and places and as yet we are not mentioned. Anyway if you are not coming we will be most definantly going to see you at the Goldcoast on March 10th, well the reason i wanted to know wasn't only for myself but for my son Joshua the drummer as i don't know if you remember Merve but after you signed a gave Josh your sticks from the concert and told him to keep playing hard you told him if you came vack to Ipswich next year being now 2008 and if he brought those very set of sticks you gave him to the concert to show you that you would replace them with another set that you played on the concert night we went to. Well Merve i hope that you do remember and stick to your word,as im sure you will as he treasures them dearly for we will see you at the Gold Coast on the 13th March and once again will ask your wife Peewee if we can see you after the show please can you let us know if you actually will be coming to Ipswich then we will go to that concert instead. I would like to thank you for the beautiful song "Breaking Waves". My Dad was a lifesaver for over 55 years, when he passed away in Dec, I knew we needed this song. We played the DVD at his funeral and it was a huge hit with every one. Over 500 people were there, mosty lifesavers. I hope they realise what a wonderful gift this song was for SLSA.

Hi Guys I remember playing with my dolls and listening to your music back in the 60's especially "Hanging Five"...what great memories. I've collected every record you ever had!! You're such a fun group and sooooo very entertaining. I found a great old black/white clip of the original Delltones from my collection of Aussie singers of the 60's (which is now my hobby) & I put this up on YouTube tonight so others can take a trip down memory lane too. I hope you don't mind. The only thing is I'm not sure of the names of the other members. Could you please let me know. Gosh - how great is YouTube now for 'free' advertising and also the best way of keeping the memory alive of all our great entertainers. Do you have any old clips to add from this era? Hey I saw you at the Watsonia RSL! You guys totally rock, but in a not kind of rock way... I went and saw shout (because the saxophone teacher at school was in it) and they sang get a job, I loved it, I found it on record and decided I liked the Delltones! My friends all think I'm crazy but I think more people my age (I'm fifteen) should listen to groups like you, because that sort of music is timeless :D Cheers!

Guys....what a show!!!!!!!What more can I say. It was a journey back in R&R history last Fri night at Twin Towns, first time I saw you perform live. I remember you guys, less one performing on Bandstand (no instruments) with all the Gang way back then, I grew up listening to you. You were great then and are even better now. The show was truly a showstopper, great energy, great harmonies and well deserving of your standing ovation. Peewee you still look and sound soooo good after all these 50 years. Where do you get all that energy from!! I tips me lid to you all and congratulate you all on such a truly wonderful night. I didn't sit still for a moment.Come back soon, and please come to Brissie and share your magic wih all of us. You outclass so many other performers and bands, you truly are a national treasure.
