My sister and I heard from him intermittently until the following March. Since then, nothing. So it's been 4+ years. We do not know how to search there(We live in NY and CA). My sister filed a missing person report but the police were not encouraging, given how many persons are missing. My brother is 63 now. If you can give any help at all, like the appropriate office to contact at Martin Marietta, we would appreciate it. I have been surfing the web for two hours now, and your father is the closest I've come to the work Mike used to do. I'm sorry for your loss - quite a tribute you've created!

I am not trying to deminish Andrew or Katrina's power. When I was 8 yrs old my family in Grand Isle, La. we had to evac because Camilles path was not certain so we took 90 thru Biloxi and stayed out the storm in Citronell AL. I will never forget that night. It was terrifying even there. It took 2 weeks before we could go back to the Island. It took that long for the road to be cleared enough for youn to travel on it. This was prior to I-10 and was the only way you could go to Mobile, AL. Engraved in my mind was the clothes stuck in the trees and the bridges that had whole road spans missing or laid on top of each other like building blocks. Fishing boats, Freighters of unbelieveable size tossed into peoples front yards. I saw yards with perfect hedges that the houses were completely gone except for the tile floor that families once walked on. They appeared as if they had been lifted straight up and moved somewhere else. Camille made an impression on my heart and mind that has never gone away. It thought me respect for weather that protects my family and I to this day. I have been through many hurricanes since then and have always know when to leave! Thanks for your site and a chance to record this memory for others to read.

He confessed that he killed the victim striking him with an unopened champagne bottle because Alessi attempted to rape him. He has stated that Scott had nothing to do with it. Paul Scott had left the crime scene about 3 ½ hours before the murder took place. Rick Kondian's parents had $45 000 with which to plea bargain for their son's life.
