I'm the original Dee Dee of Dick and Dee Dee, the Warner Brothers 60's recording duo. After Dick St. John passed away in 2003, I revised the duo and am now singing with actor/singer Michael Dunn as Dick and Dee Dee. We have been performing in Doo Wop Shows around the country. How do I upload photos? I've got some great ones of groups we've performed with.

I was Lou Silvani's best friend when he had the store on 6th Ave and 42nd St. Then in 1969 I helped him to put together the new Times Square Store on 181st Street between Grand and Davidson Ave. in the Bronx. Lou and I spent many great weekends their together, for you see we were only open Fri., Sat., and Sun. the rest of the week we just hung out in the store and somebody had to walk our guard dog FANG, I'm sure if you've ever come to our store in the Bronx you could not forget FANG. What a great time we had there, I think Louie and I had some of our greatest times in that store, not that we didn't have good times in the store downtown, but the Bronx store was really something else. It was our Fortress of Solitude. If many of you don't remember me just ask Louie about his best friend "Jerry the Animal", nuff said.

Hi Marty- add me to the legions of thankful users of your site. What a pleasure to have access to all this stuff. I just for instance clicked on "cookie and the cupcakes" Matilda--- haven't heard in eons and it made me feel plain "good " Same with almost all of them. I have to deal with some discomfort in my time now and your efforts have made it a great deal more bearable. Thanks again.

As a follow up to a previous e-mail I thought I would let you know that your site has inspired me to do something I have always wanted to do. Most oldie sets that are packaged for sale have a mixture of what we like or don't. I am creating a doo wop set that has all of what I have personally loved growing up. The vast majority will be the "classics" that we enjoyed here in the East. The first will be a "lovers" set of slow doo wop. It will also have a small bio on each group that makes the final disc(s). I would like to send it to you when I am finished, (hopefully by the Holidays). Thanks for the inspiration.

Hank
