| If so, tell me about them!: | i have two baby female gerbils called Taska and Cashmere they are black and siamese they are so cute! i love them to bits i know so much bout gerbils if anyone has any questions ask me on here! to answer your question you can give them veggies but avoid cabage and letuce as they can contain harmful chemicals, they should enjoy carrots and dandilion leaves etc also u can give them a bit of boiled egg and small amounts of cheese! :) |

| If so, tell me about them!: | i have 2 gerbils and they r sooo cute. kola,the brown one, is always running around and chewing on EVERYTHING! she is always the hyper one who always wakes her sister up when she is trying to sleep. butter,the blonde one, is always calm and a A LOT more tame then her sister.she isn't as active as her sister but some times she can be a little jumpy. so my gerbils both have a VERY diferent personality but i luv them both sooo much. |

But i have a question that i would like if someone can help me out with. in the litter i had two polar foxes but now that they are a couple months older the two polar foxes are very teritorial and every time i go to get them out and hold them they latch on to my finger and draw blood. this is very odd to me b/c i've never had a gerbil that has bitten me other then just nibbling or licking salt off of my fingers. none of the other pups from the litter bite just the two polar foxes. does anyone know if there is a resessive trait that may cause them to be teritorial or if its something else. i dont know if it has anything to do with it but when they were younger i did color the tail of one of them with a sharpie so i could tell the two apart and i accidently colored the wrong ones tail once. i dont know if there is a chemical in the sharpie that might have done something to them or not. if anyone has any idea please email me and let me know. So we thought it was over when we move the male away form the female to stop bredding But it was too late 30 days later she had another litter of 12 and thier only 2 days old now. |
