| Comments: | You seem to be having fun with your ponies and I agree with you on your stallion policy I won't have a stallion on the place that is not kind to his mares and foals and most of all humans, you must have respect for your horses and teach them to have the same for you, no nipping or bumping into you and other silly games it's so easy to frighten a small child. In the past I have sold unbroken entire colts and then I get phone calls saying I thought you said this pony was unbroken but it will do this and that, I say he is not broken but he has been gently handled and he trusts humans,good stallions have to have the breeding and dream manners which you seem to have achieved with your horses, good luck in the future. |

He and my daughter are inseparable and he is giving her a lot of confidence and teaching her determination! I am having tons of fun riding him too since I am trying to put a lot of miles on him both in the arena and on trails. He's a hardy little guy! Thanks for making such an awesome pony, Diane! | Comments: | My grandparents raised shetland and welsh ponies for years. We always had a pick of color and temperment. I helped my grandfather with finishing off some of the ponies. My days spent with my grandpartens and the ponies are my fondest memories.
Now I have young grandchildren and would like to have them learn to love the welsh ponies as I did. The children are 6yrs, 7yrs and 8 yrs. They have responsibility for taking care of our collie, two rat terriers, chickens (just one rooster and a hen) and one guinea hen. We don't have a lot of room, just an acre so we are looking for one special pony. As they are all pretty green right now we are looking for a pony that will help teach them. Please let me know if you have or know of any one out there that has a pony that needs that special home. One that will become a part of the family. I can remember my uncles bring home ponies in the back seat of a convertible and they rode like they had done it all their lives. Grandpa kept two stallions, Prince and Jimmy. I was allowed to ride them too. My favorite however was Major. He was white with a few big black spots and would do anything I asked of him. This has been over 50 years ago in by young teen years and before. Please help make not only my grandchildren's dreams come true, but this has been something I have dreamed about all my life.
