Comments: I just found your site in my Favorites and realized that I had not visited for a very long time, it is still as great as I remember from a few years ago. I am the proud rescuer of feral kitties that I have kept and built a big pen for them to live happily everafter in. At the present time I have 8 in house kitties, one is 20 years old, had her since a baby, and I also have 10 others in a big pen. I also have one little girl Spittin Fittin that got very ill and is now doing wonderfully, she lives in the house in a large pen for right now, hope to let her back in big pen in the Spring with her brother and other friends. Comments: I just love your sites. Unfortunately, the music isn't playing. I have a GREAT question for you. My Little Squeaky has extremely fine fur. It is so fine, it can get into a pore. She gets electrical shocks everytime somebody touches her so naturally, she isn't touch and oooohhh she wants to be loved soooo much. Comments: Hi Diabella, I wrote to you a couple of months ago in a panic because I had rescued an abused cat that was more than a little crazy. I hope you remember me, because I will never forget your help and encouragement! I was at my wits end and actually afraid of the cat for a while. Thanks in large part to you, he's still a part of my household and I couldn't be happier! As a matter of fact, I just talked my landlord into letting him stay and now he's got a forever home with me-legally! Here's the news: He ate for about two months without stopping, and finally began to look like an adult cat. Also, he's got a nice, shiny coat now and loves to loll around and take 'leisurely baths'. We play together A LOT, and it's really helped him to calm down. Also, he knows now that I'm not going to hurt him and if I reach toward him, it's because I just want to pet him--which he now loves! I found out that he's a plastic eater-big time-sacred the heck out of me because he was making himself sick from something that was wrapped up and so far under the bed that I had forgotten about it. Needless to say, I've gone through the place with a fine tooth comb and have not had any problems in a couple of months-thank goodness. He went for his 'big' first trip to the vet about a month ago, where he was tested for FIV/FeLV, got his shots, and was neutered. He reacted badly to the anesthesia and was pretty sick for a couple of days but has more than bounced back. Now, the important part-he really has started to trust me! He lets me pick him up and pet him and kiss him (unsure, but willing). He even sleeps next to me at night! This morning, he sat with 'two paws on' my lap for a few minutes and didn't run off. That was the best Christmas present ever! He's like a different animal from the one I took in a few months ago-I can't believe I was thinking about sending him away! All he needed was some time and love and, thanks to people like you, I was able to give it to him. Honestly, I feel like I owe you so much because this little guy has made my life a hundred times happier-I look forward to going home and I miss him when I'm gone for too long! Have a wonderful Holiday, and thank you again! I wish I could paste his picture in here--he's the cutest!
