| Comments: | Hey guys just sharing a quick memory of when I met Dick in 1999 at the Chiller Convention in New Jersey. I talked with him and David Hess both stars of Wes Cravens Swamp Thing-1982. We laughed and talked for a good 45 mins and he was just awesome. All 3 of us and I remember Dick saying "No no, thats not good another one,no no not good I wasnt smiling, no no wait I gotta sneeze". He was a great man and actor and miss him alot. |

| Comments: | Richard Durock was one of my favorite tv/movie stuntmen. I will never forget him.My two favorite roles he did are "Swamp Thing" in both movie and telvision series and his role on the "Incredible Hulk" T.V. series which aired in March of 1981 where he played a hulk like creature and gave Lou Ferrigno a run for his money.May the Good Lord bless and keep his lady Jnae and all of his loved ones as wll may the good Lord rest his soul. God Bless. Kailan D. Burgess |

| Comments: | I have not seen Dick for probably 20 years and did not know of his passing until watching the SAG awards last evening. When you have a fondness for someone from having known them (even years ago) that feeling transcends time. Dick, you were always a gentle humble guy who looked at the goodness in people. Rest well my friend, Christian Wilde |

| Comments: | I just learned of Dick's passing from his Obit on the SAG awards and am still saddened. I had the privlidge to work with him on the Swamp Thing series in Florida. I was an electrition. He was always a gentleman and a true profesional in every sence of the word. I am speachles. So many memories of him come to mind. He was our spokesman when we needed one, he was our co-worker and mostly he was our friend. He was never too busy, if a park visitor, or anyone for that matter wanted an autograph or picture, he would always kindly ablige. He espcially loved children, and they loved him, most of them anyway. Some of them couldn't get by the costume. Oh well, Dick, It was truely a pleasure to know you. God Bless you. |

| Comments: | I was very saddened to learn that my friend Dick was gone. Missed any notices of it and just learned of it today. He was a sweetheart of a man, a gentle giant. Met him for the forst time years ago on the set of Swamp Thing in FL, and worked with him at many a convention. Made special peice of artwork just for him as well, not something I do for just anyone. He is sorely missed. |

| Comments: | I just got an e-mail from my brother with a list of all the celebrities that had passed away this year. When I saw Dick Durock on there I couldn't believe it. I was shocked and stunned. I had no idea he was sick or anything. I enjoyed the interviews with him on the Swamp Thing Tv Series DVD's very much. Here I was hoping to meet the man who played Swamp Thing and The Creature from The Hulk's The First and Bigfoot & Wildboy's Radiation Monster among the many other roles he played these to me the most memorable. I was hoping to meet him at a convention in 2010 and talk movies, tv, makeup, and how iconic he was. I guess I wont be able to do that now. I just got the CD Music of The Hulk's The First and when I met Lou Ferrigno this August I told him The First were the best Hulk Episodes they ever did. My friends and I laugh and enjoy his roles so much it would have been a pleasure and honor to meet him. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to his family, friends, collegues, and affiliates on his passing. Thank you Dick Durock for your contributions to the world of entertainment. I turly enjoyed your work and won't ever forget the roar of Swamp Thing and the growl of The First's Creature that made me laugh, & intrigued me!!! God Bless Dick Durock. The Man, The Actor, The Entertainer. |
