Comments:WOW. Its been years yet DMs still touches our lives. I have a daughter now and she's gonna be a year old on the 17th and I'm Pregnant again. LOL. I'm a Baby Making Machine. Anyways, I miss everyone so much and am glad that we all have somewhere to catch up.

Comments:Last night I had conversations with two people I know from school about social problems, and about the way power is structured in our society. I started to think about power again this afternoon, and eventually my thoughts turned to the memories I have about power at D-M's.

I've never regretted the role that I played in certain events at the board, and there really wouldn't be a point to start doing so now. I am disappointed that I didn't exercise better judgment back then, but I think that I'm a little bit wiser for the experience. With that in mind, I should probably follow up on the comment I left on this page four years ago: as it turns out, D-M's did, in fact, change my life.

Comments:Wow, I Googled DM's, and I found this. Great job job with the site, DF. It really is fabulous. I remember all the wonderful times with everyone, from when I was a lowly player to the politics of being an admin. I spent about 3 years of my lfie involved with this RPG, and I don't regret all the time I spent talking to all you lovely folks. I learned al lot about friendship and human interaction, and I'm sorry I lost touch with The Family. I'm not on AIM much these days, but feel free to email or Googletalk me as you please. I can't believe it's bveen so long. I joined DM's in 7th grade, and now I'm packing for college. Wow.

Comments:Wow... I just found out about the new digimon series while procrastinating the whole idea of studying for exams, so I googled D-M's and found this place.

It has been WAY too long without seeing any of these familiar names, almost two years. I'm glad I found this place, and we all know with the bringing back of digimon will spawn many new wannabe D-M's...

Comments:Wow, crazy ... it's March 2006. Digimon is coming back, so I google the ol'RPG and found this shrine. I don't know if anyone particularly remembers me, but joined DM's on Day 1. November 9th 2000 was the day I officially became addicted to the internet.

So many great times ... DMs was so much to me and to so many ppl. It's so weird to look back and think about how I had so much more fun on Friday and Saturday nights with the RPG then I did with other things. It pretty much was my life.

Loved everyone =D

From the days when Machinedramon02 was the emperor to right after redux ... craziness and fun all around

Comments:Yeah, DMs has been awesome. I came in pretty late, sometime during redux and I was immediately sucked in. Everything about DMs was great, the people who played, playing to get stronger, and I was an especially big fan of the storyline stuff. But yeah, DMs was always a sure fire place to go where I wouldn't be bored, there was always something I could be doing whether it be talking to people in the TTOC forums or just leveling digimon. Maybe some day there will be a time when a new DMs can be created but, if not, I've still had a great time while it lasted.

Comments:Of all people, I think I might miss it most of all. So thanks for creating this page, DF. I thought of creating a page like this, I just didn't know how too... then I thought of reopening another RPG because I didn't know how to make one of these... but how many times can you kick a dead horse? lol... This place probably sticks out most of all in my head from any other. I mean, I have so many friends now(way more than I did back then) and I still think of D-M's as the one place I can go to and not ever feel like a jerk.

Let me explain to you what I came up with as the main problem... we all knew it was the power issue... but why? Well, there are two types of highs in D-M's. You can either be a great player and have high level digimon with maybe a D-3 or D-Arc or you could be a well-known moderator. Now, it all starts with the little box at the top. Who doesn't want their name up there? That would make your name one of the most well known name of the RPG! We did not really recognize individual achievements. If I had to do it all over again, I would replace the Admins and B-Mods names at the tops with two lists... "Highest Level Digimon" and "Most Levels for a Player." So now in order to get on the top of the RPG, you would have to play the game. Also, why play the game if your achievements are not recognized and it is harder than moderating when all you have to do is be friends of a Moderator to become a moderator and make a name for yourself? A player like SS1 in early D-M's days was amazing... he played his arse off, had personality and was a great moderator/D-3 Holder. In my own book, I crown him the best thing to happen to D-M's, even if his V.3 days weren't great.

D-M's will always live on in my books... I plan on getting rings to symbolize every place that had a huge impact on my life, soon, and you can count on D-M's being one of those rings. I loved this place.

Comments:WOW. Good Job Faith. All I can say is that DMs was the first place I stopped on the information supper highway and I only made my way there to annoy the hell out of EliteConquerer. I started as AD and Stuck as AD. WOW. I ended up going to annoy EC, Ended Up loving the place, started a relationship with EC and then starting the Amazing DM's Family. Which I still have the list and will be emailing to Faith. ^_^ I learned so much about myself at DMs, I learned so much about people and the world. DMs was the best thing that has ever happened in my life and I will never forget it. Heck, it gave me an Amazing Friend Arky and the greatest little Brother EVER Striker. I found my soul mate at DMs and I lost my soul at DMs. I'm amazed with how far we have all come and are going. No matter what we do, DMs is still in our lives and we are all still together. With or WithOut the Board, We are DMs. And Because I have no fear, Anyone Can feel free to call me. 661-433-2756 Just tell me your "Name" ^_^ O_oo_O

Comments:I know it's corny, and probably a little pukey to say, but DMs did change me. Go on, shoot me, but really, it did. I learned I could be just as insane in my local life, and be even more interesting for it XD Thanks for the insanity everyone, you really made my year with all the chats, pictures, catchphrases, everything...I LOVE YOU ALL, I WANT YOUR BABIES!!! Think how beautiful they will be, with my DNA in them. If you really want my babies, AIM me on TrueTigerSoul. I'll be waiting, ladies ;)

Comments:Ehhh, I can't say a whole lot about the place. Not that it hasn't affected me because it has in many ways, but all I can really say about it is that it helped me realize a few things about life and apply them to the real world. I forgot what they were though @_@

Comments:I don't know if D-M's has changed my life, but I can say that through it I've made some wonderful friends, and made some memories that will stay with me for as long as I live.

EC...I've seen just as much of the "rpg inside" as you, and I'll be the first to admit that the politics of the place leave something to be desired. I can't say I blame you for feeling the way you do. But what's done is done. Try and remember the good times you had there, and if you can't, then just block it out altogether.

Best of luck to everyone...and thank you, DigiFaith, for making this.

Comments:I may have not been at D-M's for a long time. I only arrived at v.4 or so, as Virtue, with a local account, but then I went to VirtueII, and now Vistral. D-M's was the first ezboard that I ever went to. I was searching the internet, and happened to cross a topic on D-M's. There and then D-M's changed my life for good. I may be new to it, but I am still loyal to it.

Comments:Hey Hey, the undead Crazy Sugar-High guy is back! Lots of good memories at DM's...when IamKristen would chase me with her chainsaws, all the good battles, tons of friends, when Pheonixmon and KariKamiya (later on known as Videl Satan) streaked... 0.0 ...,when we learned that Tai, good friend and great mod, had died in a car accident, whether good or bad events we shared them together. But have you noticed, all the people who dis DM's and it's visitors, including 'Highwind' aim EC up there, had maybe one or two friends there? They're plain and simple jealous because the rest of us can adapt enough in our lifes to take time to visit friends, even if we don't know what they look like. So to all the people who dis us... just shove it and stop your whining.

Comments:Hey, I think we can all say that we learned something from D-M's. I learned how to have confidence and stand up for myself. And this was an accomplishment, considering how shy I was 2 years ago. Whether positive or negative, everyone learned something important from D-M's, and that's worth at least a thank-you. So thank you, D-M's.

Comments:Well there are a few things I'd like to say..

First off, there is an error on the first page...It says somthing about wether you are a newbie or an oldbie, you could always 'feel the warmth of friendship' or somthing along those lines.. I as an administrator had seen it first hand, people. Wether you were a mod, admin, old player, or brand new player, one thing stood certain in that old RPG.. The atmosphere was nothing but turmoil, chaos, and arguements.

Second, I would like to say that the RPG really has changed my life. I learned that there are some disturbingly pathetic people in life, and that I should go get a real life. Wich I did. If it weren't for the sad group of people who hung out at DM's 24/7, chances are I would still be a little nerd to this day. But I'm not, so 'whuteva'.

Peace in the hood. If anyone wants anything: Highwind1420 (AIM)
