My Croxford ancestors have been in the East Dixmont/South Newburgh area since shortly after the Revolution. I believe my great-grandfather Lyman Croxford was the first to cross the line from Newburgh to Dixmont. He lived where the cellar hole is in front of Frank Cookson's house and down the hill a bit. My grandparents and their family later lived there, and the house was struck by lightning and burned in 1930. Your neighbor down the road.

Barbara and I met on line while tracking our connections to the Bragdon/Mitchell lines. I'm looking forward to attending your 2007 party.

My wife and I are working on building a display of Maine Women in Aviation and Kay is one person we like t high lite! If you could contact me that would be great.
