Comments: Liked to help you out on Mt Hood, You will have
to pay my way on Mt Rainier has I have already
done that one. My experiece was that none of the
cavers during the 1972 convention made it to the
top, because of wasted motions in route finding.
Also saw that the independent climbers never got
going early enough. I of course went with the Mt
Everest climbers outfitters foreget the name, but
he was ther brother of the REI Pres. and had a
name starting with W. The young girls treat him
just the same a life guards.
On Mt Baker we hired 2 local climbers who's only
claim to fame was they had done it before. Any
cave new more about rope work then they did.
Next month I will have all the free time I need
as I am retiring. That's right no work, no debt,
no major sickness, no wife, only hobbies.
Looking for people - NY City late Oct. photo
workshops, Merchants Mill Pond late Nov-Dec, WV
downhill on xco skis Feb & March, Trail Club WV
childrens camp Feb. for hiking & xco ski. Do not
have a wet suit that fits, however let me know
you phone # etc. and I will call when I come
through Roanoke. John Tichenor

climb Baxter soon.

Some of the printing on your site is difficult to
read on my browser (Netscape Communicator) because
the colors are too similar to the background.
