frightened. I can only imagine how hard it must be to have your worst fears realized. I know how much a part of your life Dawn has been - really, the most constant part since 1985. What a loss. Dawn's death is very sad. I am very glad that she was in your life when your really needed her, and that she gave you the sense of being lovable and loved when you felt that no one else cared. I know that she would have been aware of how important she was in your life, and of how much each of you loved her. Not many cats experience the love she received. |

| Comments: | I was so touched by your tribute to your loved one Dawn. My
daughter Theresa has lost 2 cats in the last year. One by disease and one was killed unexpectedly. She took such good care of them, she loved them with all her heart. We were all saddened by the loss of these two precious animals. Theresa is nine years old and has had a really rough year due to her health and the death of her animals. But I am here to tell you all good things come to those who wait. Our other cat Sandy, the sister to Theresa's 2nd cat Sunny, is pregnant and due any day. We are all so excited, and Theresa is so happy it brings tears to my eyes. So in time wounds do heal, and there memory goes on. My husband told me that it is God saying, I'm sorry this happened to you, how about another try. We are waiting delivery with bated breath!!! It is so nice to see the family happy and excited again. We have 4 children, 3 dogs and the 2 cats Sandy and Spooky. We have a house full, but the question is still asked to me, don't you have enough? I answer them this.....can you ever have enough LOVE? I think not!!! I hope things are working out for you. It is so hard to get over something like that, and it could have been prevented!!!! I hope the owners of the dog were aware of what happened! Anger never helped anything, but sometimes you need to let it out and people have to be held accountable. Thank you for sharing your lovely tribute with the world!!! |
