| Comments: | We just had to put our 11 year old Dobe, Miss Kitty down a week ago and it is so lonesome without her. She started last spring with having the nerves to her hind legs and feet fraying and was loosing control of her legs and feet. As she got worse and worse. we both cried even more because we knew we were going to have to put her down. It is truly a sad day when you look into a dobe's eyes and there is no life. As you can tell we really miss her.
We have to be out of Florida towards the end of Jan. so we will start looking for a new one in Feb. Please keep us updated. We miss our Dobe! |

So, I need a match for dog and myself. I get along well and have a fence yard and a nice neighborhood. She would get alot of loving care and campanionship. We could even share the bed. I truly miss my dobies. It's been about 7 years since I have had one and when I see one theyare in my heart and soul. I have been around doberman's since I was 15 years old in the Bronx, N.Y. and Tampa, Florida. My parents started raising dobermens in l951. | Comments: | My fiance and I adopted our doberman, Harley from Sarasota County Humane Society in FL. He is 5 years old and a big boy weighing in at 104lbs! And he isn't a chubby boy at all!! He is such a joy, he is so loyal and affectionate and well trained. We were told that his owner before was a woman who had a newborn baby that was allergic. She must have spent a lot of time training him, he is so well behaved, know your basic commands, but ALWAYS comes when he is called!! I let him out to potty every morning and leave the slider open, while I feed my rabbits, when he is done he trots back inside. I have watched him, chase rabbits, only to the edge of the yard and come right back. Our Harley horse is such a gem. My father had a doberman, Lucifer, another 100+lber, when I was a baby and I have always wanted one. My fiance and I will never owner another breed of dog. He is the ultimate house alarm, I feel so safe. Despite the fact that he can put on a fierce "mean dog" act, he is so sweet and he loves to cuddle and be near anyone. HE LOVES WOMEN!! I just love our doberman!! |

He was our third dobie to die of cardiomyopathy. We need to wait for awhile, because no-one can replace him, he was such a special boy. | Comments: | Beautiful site. I didn't know there was such a need for adoption of Dobies. I have two, Lemi and Jagr, both purchased from reputable breeders. I would like a 2ish r/t, c/d dobiegirl and would like to adopt one when available. I have three children under the age of 7 and the dogs are great with them. We live on 5 acres half of which is cleared for them to run although they do spend alot of time indoors especially when it's to hot/cold outside. I would like to eventually foster, but need to finish my schooling first (May 2010). |
