Comments:Im a Ferrari Enthusiast and yeah, I spotted it out right away that it didnt look like a a real 355. 1: I see one everyday (my boss has one) 2: not wide enough. 3: every single one of those cars has the wrong wheels arches. 4: roof it far to high.

Sorry, but if you cant spot these out and just want to do it to say "I own a ferrari" then dont do it as they will laugh at you.

However............I have just seen a f355 & diablo that I could not tell that they were car kits at all! Want pics? email me.

Now I have 2 grandsons under 2 years old and my intention is to get mine "Pimped" by "extreem kits" in the next 12 months (Money allowing)so they will light up everytime grandpa's coming round in the Ferrari. I like your Spyder conversion which I may look to also now? Great site!!

these cars are hot! the donor mr2 is much better than a pontiac fiero! but the most important question is: is this kit allowed in germany or european union? perhaps i need a special cercificate. and where can i get this kit?
i will be happy if you send me an answer.

But why go to all that effort to make the car look like something it is not? People in the know will just be laughing. Would rather spend my money on a Supra, Skyline etc.

Cheers
Paul.

The point is not that some people can't afford the real F355, so therefore they try create their own. Your car creates a false image amongst the public. The whole idea behind the magic of Ferrari is the sound, the looks, the feel and the heritage that they have created over the last 60 years. Its unique to the motoring world, its a passion that is ignited in people from a early age, watching their motorsport success and trying to be a part of the magic of Ferrari by owning one.

By creating a lookalike Ferrari from a Toyota is nothing less than sacrilege, no wonder Ferrari lawyers are scouting the world trying to stop replica manufacturing of their icon shapes.

I have always been revolted by kit cars, especially when their proportion are so grossly out. That American 308 replica on a Pontiac Fiero chassis must have been the worst ever, I still wonder what people think when they drive these cars, they actually think they are driving a Ferrari, If you want a Ferrari, buy one, don’t try create one yourself, who are you fooling, some dumb blonde. Its NOT a Ferrari, its an abortion of a Toyota.

Some Ferraris are affordable such as the 308 GT4, Mondial 8, 400i and the likes. At least you are driving the real thing! Is that not the point?

Comments:Hey Im interested in picking up your replica kit. However i do have a few concerns. 1. Are there any modifications to the chassis and what not ? ... i Basically I want to know if it can still be insured as an mr2 with a bodykit rather than a kit car. I am unable to insure a kit car if thats the case. 2. I will be taking it to a shop for fitting. how long does it take aprox ??. If you could get back to me that would be great.
