I know you have heard this before but I believe it deserves repeating. This music is the absolute best I have ever heard. I have never been so captivated by any music in the past. It makes me wonder what kind of message is lying behind the beautiful sounds that I can hear. I want to ask a question while I am at it. Has this song ("Southwind") ever been used in a movie and if so, what was the title of the movie? The music kept drawing me in as if I had heard it before, however, that could only have happened if it was used in a movie some where. Other than that I know for sure I had never heard it before which seems remarkable because of the effect that it has caused. Thank you for producing it. my site and I will link back for sure! I don't know if you are aware of the copyright issues and the problems that people like me are having now days trying to find good music for our sites. I had a lot of "oldies" on my pages (as background music) and then panic`d when I began reading all the scary copyright laws so I removed them. That left people like me with very little choices of what we could put on our pages for background music. I was able to get a few that are not copyright but the majority of us are left with songs written prior to 1920. Now don't get me wrong "some of the songs from back then are really fun and some are actually beautiful" but it is so nice to run across a page like yours that offers such a wonderful choice of "terrific very cool sound!" You might consider adding your midi's to a collection and selling them! I wouldn't even know how you would go about doing something like that but you might want to think about it and research it! You know so many people love and use my midi files that I labored over so hard... | Comments: | Very cool site. I downloadwed a few of your songs from Mp3
and came visiting from there. I am a hobby recording guy and I noticed you use Korg X5. I have an X5d. Any midi tunes made with sys ex for that? For several years I have been doing home recording ( 8 track analog with midi hook up and computer seqencing along with live parts etc.) with a friend . He's the main songwriter,vocs, guitar, bass and I'm drums, percussion,synth and recording engineer. Lots of fun and we've been all over the place with styles and subject matter. For the most part I write a deeper and more "spiritual" themes, and he writes the lovelorn stuff. He is Native American and plays the N.A. flute wonderfully, and we have recorded several tapes of synth/ flute that seem to get the most attention of our work. I have been dropping hints, lyrics and sometimes mp3 files ( & straight midi) of some of these tunes around the net to see if there was a good forum to connect with people of like mind.Not "learned" enough to put my own web page together, yours is impressive!
