what a great page and experience for me to see Germany, the German costums, the typical food as well as some German music through the eyes of a Not-German.
I didn´t know the expression "sich auf den Wurststandpunkt stellen.." but I´m addicted to Nutella as well. You should take a look on the following page - there you can find a lot of recepies with Nutella, for example Nutella- Muffins (www.chefkoch.de ; on the top: Rezepte->Rezeptübersicht->put in "Nutella").
And you also might to check out some more German pop music... Try the following artist: Xavier Naidoo, Fettes Brot, Max Herre, Silbermond, Juli, Mia, Wir sind Helden...

Hey there! I'm Sarah and I'm 16. I live in England (where Nutella is plentiful!). Anyway, I agree with you about Nutella, it's great isn't it? I'm sure it tastes differently in Deutschland () than other places, I had it on toast when I was over there with my school. I don't know whether I agree with you about the greatness of Thunderbirds. As It came out over here, I've seen the reruns and it gets on my nerves as my dad likes it as it came out when he was a kid. Have you seen the other shows made by the same people? For example; Stingray and Captain Scarlet. Finally, I know what your talking about with the Germany people and how they won't talk German to you, when I was over there I wanted to know how much one type of candy was in a shop, I spent ages looking it up in notes etc, I asked and the woman answered me in English! I know...you dont know me, but, I'm the weirdo that sat next to your sister as we endured the tedium of "Unemployment Orientation".....
Although why we needed to be oriented about being unemployed, I doubt neither of us ever learned....but, we did get a kick out of the people who couldn't even follow the "Put your name here" directions.....
