We had lots of pictures and letters that were written German and stories that were passed down that we used in the book. | Comments: | I'm trying to find out information on my g-g-g-grandparents that settled in the Hooppole, Illinois area.
This is the information that I have: BRANTS, Ewe B. "Ephriam "Efe" David Brants" 31 July 1829 Arle, Hanover, Germany 18 June 1909 Hooppole, Henry County, Illinois KAMPEN, Petje Elizabeth "Lizzie" 10 October 1852 Peoria County, Illinois Any information on their parents would be appreciated. I was very excited to find this website as I didn't know anything about Ostfriesland. I found another site that apparently isn't active any longer that Rick Campen had on families from Ostfriesland and my family's name as listed. Many thanks for any help. Sincerely, Marilyn Drayton Beatty Dayton, Ohio |
