In September I joined the Concierge Desk at the then Crest International Hotel Brisbane After a year I was made the Senior Night Porter. In 1982 I had the honour of meeting the Late Tony F. Chief Concierge of the Sheraton Wentworth in Sydney. In 1983 I visited Tony and was given a tour of his establishment. In 1983 I had the pleasure of working under the guidence of the Late John Oneto who was a member of Les Clefs d'Or. In 2005 I joined Chief Concierge Elvis Soyzia and his team at the Sofitel Brisbane as one of three Door Commissionaires. On a personal note it is a pleasure to work in a department with the Chief Concierge proudly displaying the Gold Crossed Keys.
