I want the first thing that you read to be this: Big D, thanks for getting the site back up, I honestly mean it. You Comcast guru. LOL WOW, Hello to anyone who reads this. It's going to be a long post, so sorry. I just wanted to clear the air on some stuff that is circulating the net. I am going to state the facts on about 7 or 8 diffent FAQ's. Q1. Did the Band break up? A1. I always felt that "breaking up" is something you do with your girlfriend in 8th grade. So the answer is NO. However, the band is taking some long needed "Time Off" you might say. Q2. Did Pat quit? A2. Well, this is kind of an odd one, but the TRUTH is this: Pat has alot of crap on his plate right now, and Destruction 412 was not being much of an appetizer for hime right now. So yeah, Pat took a long needed "break" from the band. Q3 Is Pat going to still play drums for D412? A3. I think so!!! I think once the holidays are over, and stress levels come down, Pat will return to what I call "The Home of Nicko McBrain", or what most people call a 9 piece drumkit!! Q4. If Pat doesn't come back, what will you do? A4. Hmm, I can assure you this, We didn't write 13 new songs just to let them go. If I have to play everything myself, I will put this freakin' record out!!!! Q5. What's going on with Dan Bires?, "did he quit?", "was he kicked out?" A5. O.k. Here we are again with the high-school terminology. We didn't "kick" anyone out, and nobody "quit". Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond anyone but GOD'S control, Dan was having a hard time with his health. This past year just wasn't good on his vocal chords. So with this said, please go back and refresh with A1. Q6. "What is all this jibber jabber I hear about Jake and Pat disbanding D412, to reform Driven? A6. WOW, If someone asks me this one more time, I think I will vomit elephant entrails. Here's how it goes. Driven has not done anything since the last show at Excuses. Yeah, we keep in contact. We even hang out sometimes, But we honestly just haven't done anything. That doesn't mean that Driven won't do anything. If those guys called me tonight, and said we have a show tomorrow, I will be there, ......With Guitar in Hand, ready to tear it up!!!! But guess what? WE DON'T HAVE ANY SHOWS TOMORROW, NEXT SATURDAY, OR EVEN NEXT YEAR, ...........Yet, LOL. Everyone chill out, LOL. Q7. What are Destruction 412's future plans. A7. I hope I am clearly speaking for the rest of the band when I say this, I really enjoy what we do, yeah, I say do, and not did!!, I hope that in this next month, stuff will settle down, and we can start to be productive again. We will have to see what the next couple of weeks have in store for us! Just be patient. I do agree the band should speak and let everyone know just what is going on. We all remember the interviews of the band members Witch is on myspace at www.myspace.com/thudproductionstudios Well let’s do that again in a round about way. Let’s do this; I am collecting up to 10 questions from people wanting to know about the band and there plans to continue or disband. I will take the time to interview each and every one of you video tape it and post it to the web. This way there is no confusion on this matter. Please don’t get me wrong on this and think I’m for the bands braking up cause nothing is farther from the truth. I said to Danny that I would like nothing more than to see the band continue on. You know it sure is funny that people have so much to say about the band not being together anymore. As for me, I haven't given up and I know from talking to others that it isn't over. So why must we read about the "demise" of the band from everyone else? Why not let the band speak for themselves and see what else is said about this band from "the band".. Certain members my not be in it or into it anymore but, the remaining are still all for it.. I posted a statement that sounds as though Danny quit the band and I stand corrected by Danny him self. Truth is Danny didn’t quit the band. Danny said “the band quit him”. Sorry Danny, Truly I apologize for the misinformation I have posted. The post was not to make anyone look like a quitter. Witch you certainly are not in this case. I personally would like nothing more than to see D412 Back together and doing what they do best in full swing. You know how I like video taping and working with the band and I have 2 nephews that plays in it. I’m not going to lie if Jake and Pat weren’t in it I wouldn’t do anything for them but, I would still like the music. Big news on the Destruction 412 home front. Since the departure of singer Dan Biros drummer Pat Loera also has decided to sever ties with the band to complete the long time project he has started with his old band Driven. Pat said "Its just to big of a pain in the ass starting over again when my heart aint in it". The bands plans to continue is unknown at this time but there talking with another drummer as well as a singer. As you all know the band had the potential to take it to a higher and a new level. Its a place where most local bands only dream of being. Pat would like to express his deepest thanks to all the fans who have supported the band And hopes they continue on with great success | |
