Comments:	Back in the early 1990s, following release of The Jetsons Movie, I campaigned for Hanna-Barbera to do a Stateside version of Drak Pack in the form of Super Jetsons. In the original 1980s Jetsons episode, "Super George", George Jetson uses the Thinko machine to grant him superpowers; in "Super Jetsons", George again becomes his super "self", but now has Jane in a sexy Batwoman-type outfit consisting of very short trunks and fishnets and adopting BatJane as her superalias (she can also transform herself into a real bat!); daughter Judy is now Sparrow, an idea that originated in MAD Magazine; Elroy resumes his role as Space Boy; and Astro becomes Zoom and hates his life as a superdog. The Super Jetsons are joined with Rosie, who becomes RoboBot and adopts a male voice as well as a dark navy suit of armor. The catchphrase that summons the transformation: "DUTY CALLS FOR THE SUPER JETSONS!"; and the transformation process is similar to that employed in Drak Pack, with one family member at a time changing out of street clothes and into superhero mode. It is hoped that, when The Jetsons celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2012, that Cartoon Network will re-visit the idea of a Super Jetsons TV series as well as bringing back Drak Pack. Better yet, pair the two shows side-to-side and have cross appearances. I also hope that eSurance will consider having the Super Jetsons appear alongside Erin Esurance in that company's future TV commercials.
