I'm that publisher friend of Lynda's in Nashville. Well, I've got some news for Lynda that I've been keeping to myself for awhile. See, in Nashville good news is sometimes nothing but "hot air" and ends up disappointing everyone. You see, when Lynda was here I heard a song she'd written called "Daddy's Eyes" and I thought Lynda should start trying to write more. Quinn Loggins is the writer for my company, Wanted Woman Music, and I was able to convince Quinn to write with Lynda. They wrote several songs. One was an idea Quinn had about a single mom, called "Anna". He was generous enough to include Lynda, Justin Schipper and yours truly as writers. We all did write on the song but Quinn was the driving force and we're all really grateful to him for the credit he gave us. Anyway, that was back in 1999 and five years later I am proud to inform you and Lynda that "Anna" has been cut by Warner recording artist, Lauren Lucas, and is tentatively set for release on her debut CD in the spring. Here's the fun part. Lynda doesn't know the news. Maybe she'll read it first and maybe one of her many friends will read this, call her and be the first to tell Lynda she has her very first big major label cut. If you're the first to tell Lynda please ask her to give me a call and tell me your name and address. I'd like to send you something special from Nashville as a thank you for spreading good news. It is so seldom we get to tell something wonderful and I hope you all have a great time spreading Lynda's wonderful news. WOW! We want to tell you how wonderful you were in Sound of Music. There was not a dull moment in the whole show. We were on the end of our seats at time waiting for you to act and sing.
