| Comments: | Hi great site !, I was looking on your site for some information regarding a scout patch for a fellow scouter friend of mine, the patch is a round one,with a red edge,red hill and a black wolf on a white back ground and a red moon, with the words Niagara District Jungle Day aroung the top, and aroun the bottom it reads 1982 75th Anniversary. So 1. Is it one of your Patches ? 2. What was Jungle Day about and 3. Will you be doing another Jungle day if it is your patch.
Love the trucks were they made by the scouts them selves ? And what was the track made of ? |

| Comments: | i am doing Canada as a school project, put now that i have seen what it is really like behind all of the gloss and cover, it isnt really a very nice place! Some of the places look scruffy and untidy, and seriously need refurbishing.

What a beautiful web site you have created & which I have found for the first time today. Having served Scouts Canada in Niagara Falls for 20 + years and my dear father before me for 48 years I do consider "Scouts Niagara" as my personal "Lighthouse". What a history Niagara has being a part of Scouting from the inception by our Founder & Friend "Lord Baden_Powell of Gilwell". I wonder how many scouts today can tell the "Gilwell Story" and also know "Why Scouts" and how it came to pass. The museum in Niagara Falls Scout Centre is truly a marvelous place to visit & the contents tell the "Whole Story" on Scouting in Niagara. Scouting is not just a "Program" its a "Way of Life" & so many of us dedicated our "Time & Talent" to making this come alive in the lives of so many over the years. May God continue to bless "Scouts Niagara" with those dedicated people who still want to influence youth for the common good of all. Keep up this fine work and remember "Scouting will Never Die" it is carried on by each generation of men and women who care about "Kids". My best wishes for a long healthy future I remain R. we r from NZ represent!!!!, we r just trudgin it and scooted horizontily in a 45 degree angle in the south easterly direction along your website which caught our eyes, our fathers where in the scouts when the were our age and we where quite interested in the scouts and there uniform and how different it is to our uniform !!!(for brownies) any way we have alot of hope the you will travell in avertically north easterly 60 degree direction one day to nz!! |
