Seeing John on stage the other night, with his beautiful girlfriend in the audience, and the way they were with each other, and he introducing her to me.. they were the epitome of sheer love. Everybody knew what a facade you were putting on, and I truly hope you will come to terms with this and be happy for John. He is a talented guy who has gone out of his way for others and he deserves to be happy. |

And in 'real life', if you held someone down while your girlfriend beat them up, you would both be guilty of assault and battery. The fact that this person says mean and stupid things about Tamsin's weight problem is no excuse, but I'm sure you were just kidding. If this Tamsin hater saw her in real life, he or she would probably be all kiss-ass nice anyway. And not to be rude, but Tamsin is not a celebrity or a well-known person so the fact that somebody feels the need to slam her like this and in the way it is done makes me think it's someone she knows. I don't agree with Tamsin's stance of fat-acceptance, much like I don't agree with alcoholism-acceptance, tobacco-acceptance, drug abuse-acceptance, or any self abuse-acceptance, but I think she has the right to say what she thinks. Good luck with whatever you do, John. I have never seen "Hello Larry" but I did watch you on "Square Pegs" when I was a little pre-schooler. It was a funny show and I specifically remember your character, Marshall. You were great. |

Oh, so you like her because she reminds you of water buffalos? I get it! You're a chubby chaser (but Tamsin is more than "chubby", that lady's morbidly obese). Seriously, how do you stand it? You know that chick has got to stink. She has more skin on her than a tee pee. Waterbuffalo! Is that your pet name for her? Which is why she's been in this business for nine billion years and is still unknown outside the few NYC comedy clubs she's fouled with her "humor". Have some pride, John. You can do better. |

Hello all, I just wanted to write a short comment saying how much I appreciate everyone's memories of the show Johnny Carson made more jokes about than any other. My personal favorite of his was, "Tonight on NBC, McLean Stevenson will jump off the Empire State Building and the show is called 'Goodbye, Larry'." lol Also if anyone's curious as to what I'm doing lately or where I can be found, you are welcome to check out the support group I run for comedians called "The Standups' Asylum". The web address is posted above. It also has a photo album. However, I warn you right now it is for mature audiences only because the messageboard is for comedians to vent about anything on their mind, regardless of how depraved! Some subject matter is not for the squeamish. Be warned! To the no-life asshole who printed those horrific things about my sweet partner Tamsin: Your venomous comments are representative of your own character, which as far as I'm concerned hangs off your legs like fat off a water buffalo. It's easy to hide behind a computer, especially if you're too much of a pussy to use your own name or e-mail address. As you are. It would be great if you said all these things to her face. Then I'll gladly hold you down while she throttles you! Now go back to your favorite hobby of throwing helpless cripples off 10-story buildings. Loser! I hope this makes clear it's really me and that I would never say anything that horrible to the woman who's been my best friend and partner for the last 3 years. Tamsin has been an inspiration to me in many ways, and it's likely I would have been unable to resurface in the comedy world without her guidance. "Hello Larry" was a terrible sitcom. The big joke at the time was, "McLain Stevenson left MASH to do this?" Having said that, I will tell you that I have seen several episodes from the second season. Why, you might ask? For the same reason that I have seen most of the episodes of "Square Pegs" (which wasn't half bad). My partner and part owner of my production company, FEMISON Productions and also my significant other is ... yes you guessed it, John Femia. Despite rumors to the contrary, he did NOT die of a heroine over-dose, was NOT arrested for robbing video stores but IS indeed, still in show business. He is a stand-up comedian in NYC. My name is Michael and I am from germany. It was on 1983 I saw this very great commedy-show on german tv. After that I saw it every week when it was broadcasted and I recorded it on video-tapes. One year ago when I was moving into a new flat I lost all these videos (fans forgive me!). And now I need some help from the fans: How can I get new videos from this show? in watching it because I am a Kim Richards fan. However, it wasn't long before I began to appreciate the talents of Krista and the rest of the cast. Doing cross-over episodes with "Different Strokes" was an inspired idea. If I may make a suggestion, a "where are they now" show would be very popular with the fans of both sit-coms. dedicated to my old show. It makes me feel good to know that silly show brought joy to you all. Todd, thanks for caring. Somebody asked what we are doing...I can only speak for myself. After many years of acting and other television shows and films (Beverly Hills, 90210 and 21 Jump Street my two longer living series, and films MORTAL PASSIONS, KILLER IMAGE, etc. I left acting. I have been living in Rome, Italy, where I have become a journalist and documentary television producer/director. I came out to Los Angeles just long enough to make my television special documentary, "The Mysterious Man of The Shroud" for CBS and a four part series for Discovery called "The Genetic Revolution". I am also producing a new series for Discovery that I created called "Cyberwar", and a documentary special on the Vatican for the Learning Channel. I'm quite happy with my life, I love Rome. To all the fans, I appreciate and thank you for your dedication.
