<br>20th time. I read them every winter because every cold wind
<br>and fall of snow evokes some of the scenery. I read
<br>passages on nights when I feel like I have been kicked around
<br>all day. They would not be so re-readable were it not for
<br>the vivid characterizations and evocative settings. It is a
<br>complex set of books that whose plot alone invites rereading
<br>much like the plot of the movie "Sixth Sense" invites re-
<br>viewing. They are by a person who crafts words, Patricia
<br>McKillip. They are out-of-print but come back in now and
<br>then.

<br>to not read those books you talked about but didn't like.
<br>I disagree with your analysis of the Dragonlance books,
<br>however. The two authors you talked about (Margaret Weis
<br>and Tracy Hickman) are not the only two good authors out
<br>there. I don't remember the name of the trilogy I read,
<br>but it includes Brothers Majere and Kendermore(3rd and 2nd)
<br>and I can't remember the title of the first. They were
<br>excellent! I've also read whichever various books from
<br>other miniseries' I can get my hands on, an I've enjoyed
<br>them all. There are two books that I recommend you put on
<br>your page, as well. They are The Spellkey Trilogy (it's
<br>one book) by Ann Downer, and Lords of the Sky by Angus
<br>Wells. They are my favorite fantasy books. Again, great

I also disagreed with your assement of the Wheel of Time series. Robert Jordan is probably my favorite fantasy author and I wait eagerly for each of his new books. By the way, I bought the Shannara game and played it. It's not very good at all. It only took me about 2 weekes to get through and the story is the same every time.<br></td>
