| I am a huge fan of Natalie Imbruglia since her early days with neighbours, i have followed up her work up until this day. I am an Australian, and her impact here has been enourmous and is really comforting to here the same throughout the rest of the world. For those people out there who continue to bag her for not writing her own music and the sorts, are entitled to their own opinion, but it is much preffered if you keep it to yourself, because nobody wants to read a jelous mans views. Torn, Big Mistake and Wishing I Was there are sensational, and she is currently trying to piece together another album,(no rush Natalie!!!)

| I am not either an Ednaswap fan or a Natalie Imbruglia fan
but it is my opinion that what Natalie Imbruglia did was wrong. "torn" is popular because it is catchy, not because Natalie Imbruglia sings it. It is wrong that because of her actions Ednaswap will never get any credit for the song that they made. Bands cover songs that have already been popular and have been played. Real artist have respect for others work, Natalie Imbruglia though and her porducer did not cover "torn" they stole it wrongfully. I can not think of one just reason for why she should of been able to do this. All of Natalie Imbruglia fans must be able to see the difference between what she did and what other bands have done by covering popular songs. Just remember.. music is a form of art. Do you think if someone made a remake of the mona lisa, even if it was better than the original, they would get the rocognition and credit and fame? I think not. It is not about what is better or worse. It is about what was put into it; the originality and creativity, the heart and soul. Please write me if you think i am wrong and have a good reason why or if you support me. rantings): I never heard of a band getting in trouble because someone covered one of their songs. I have heard of bands that have been covered, release their own version, and gotten airplay on the merits of their own version alone. But I have never heard of a sicko like Joshua Provost or his twisted friends in Ednaswap before. They should be grateful: they got airplay no one else would ever give them. Natalie Jane's got a good band. They do a good job. They covered a song. They're not the first, nor the last, nor is it any big deal. What is a big deal is Joshua Provost, who is so sunk in his pathetic Ednaswap that he has to go all poison in this nice Dream Book.
