| Comments: | I have been looking for an opportunity to volunteer in a program such as this. I had to recently sell my Peruvian Paso because of illness and then stomach surgery from which I'm recovering. I'll be moving to Shawano in the next 1-2 months and would like to talk with someone about your program. I'm so excited there is a program so close by. I was going to talk to our North Star Gaited Peruvian Horse Club about setting up a program like this, but since yours is already up and successful, maybe you could get some older Peruvians and gaited horses as well. |

My favorite horse was "Snickers" the dark brown one who would happily break into a canter at the slightest request. Pearl was great too! I finally got the breedings put together and emailed over to you. I included a copy of Christopher J's pedigree and as many pictures of foals as I could find to scan. I don't have the last two current foals on the computer yet but after the casts come off Buck they will be sent. See what you think and let us know, if your interested. So far he has not produced color on 1/4 horses but he has had 100% on everything here in our yard, including solid mares. Hope your year is going well on that side of the state. We're busy down here. Just received your christmas card and thank you for your newsletter. Hopefully, Joel and I will be able to come and visit sometime in the future, but right now, I am busy going back to school. I remember Christine (Chris) was always very much "the Horsewoman" in the family. I applaud your efforts in this program. Being hearing impaired myself, I never thought about how important it is to be able to exercise the mind as well as the body, using horseriding as an exercise technique. I was always scared of horses, me being so small and they being so "tall." However, I hope to change that one day and really learn how to ride. Joel has always ridden horses since he was small, so he has the advantage over me. We have been to the Kentucky Derby a few times since I have been in Kentucky these past few years and each time, I am always in awe of the horses abilities. Keep in touch!
