And I thought maybe one may need a home from all the disasters that have happened this year. We had to put our little one to sleep, she was only 12, but she was also given to us and we really loved her. We have a schnauzer and they were buddieShe needs another buddy. |

adopted from a rescue group in Oklahoma. She is a good girl that came from a puppy mill. I was fortunate enough to get her when she was was only about a year and a half.I would now like to find a nice adult, female maltese or silky. I also have a male dog and since he is definitely the ALPHA in my home I feel a relatively young female would be the best match.If you can help me , I would appreciate it.I am a responsible adult with good pet "references" I think! think the breeder wasn't reputable. I would be interested in helping the organization. My Maltese "Tootsie" is a wonderful little dog. We go to hospitals, nursing homes as shte is a therapy pet. I have read some of the rescue stories in the Maltese magazine and I can not believe the way some animals are treated. I want to thank you for your love of these innocent animals. |

| Comments: | Since that time and before we have been a foser care center
and pet placement service for our area of Corpus Christi. People bring us their unwanted pets and we re socialize them and find them homes. We got a new addition to our family of 9 so we now have 10. She is a Lhasa-poo names Chelsea and she is white with a tan spot on her back and curly fur. She has the cutest face and we had to strip her fur when she first arrived. We accept any and all strays. In the last 2 months we have had a poodle, a boston terrier and an australian shepherd. We have 3 maltese terriers, 4 malto-mutts(maltoids), 1 lhasa, 1 lhasa-poo, and 1 huge old black lab mix(9). |

time heart disease despite the best medical,emotional care and love,and came to your page to see maltese rescue dogs in need ;being an ex rescuer myself;and the music you play and the loving stories of the deserving pets that have found and need homes were over whelming at this time in greif i cried and cried,knowing the one i lost was lucky to be rescued by me 8 yrs. ago...i cry for them all~~always will!!i was so busy in past rescue and dreamed of a maltese to love since childhood<40 now..> i am looking into rescuing one instead of buying first.i have given much love,emotional,physical,financial care to rescues and still perfer *adopt* a maltese...thanks for *geniunly* caring about these sweet souls~~~sincerly mitzi at:mitziminis@aol.com |
