| a detailed description of yourself: | I'm seventeen years old and a senior in my marching band. I work out, mostly weight lifting and jogging. I'm 5'7" and I have shoulder length brown hair with natural auburn highlights. Right now it's layered. I'm very tan right now from band camp and practices. I use both standard and 6' poles, and swing flags or any other kind of prop. Last year I used 12foot PVC poles in our show. I love learning difficult tosses and trying to teach them to others. I'm a Captain in colorguard this year (as i said above) and my ABSOLUTE favorite thing about marching band is going to ACC's each year. Last year we placed 9th out of all the TOB competing bands on the Atlantic Coast. I'm also the Historian/Photographer for our band/guard. |

| a detailed description of yourself: | Well, for starters, I'm about 5'3 with Red hair (natural I may add) and bright blue eyes. My eyes and my hair have to by my favorite thing about myself. Only good thing, is that I have a lot of say on what goes on with our guard. This year is going to be a lot of fun. Our show is Les Mes. It's french, and there's a lot of dancing and movement. | types of guard/band your in: | This is my 3rd year of Guard for Marching Season, and I'll be going on my 2nd year of Indoor. Rifle is my specialty... the new girls call me "God's gift to Rifle" I love rifle... and my head swells just a little bit when I get compliments on a solo, or a toss... I dunno I just have lots of fun. Sabre is also one of my favs... It's not perfect, but I'm getting there :) Our guard isn't just flag, rifle and sabre. My school is known for being the only school around and in our division to have as much dancing and movement. We also have a twirler, which this is actually the 1st year our band director will let us have her do it. We also have 4 majorettes, which I am one of them. This is my first year twirling and I absolutly love it! I'm getting better and better every day. We're pretty damn good :) Hopefully my guard career won't end with highschool. I was pulled aside by my coach and correographer and talked to about doing Colorguard with the Marching Pirates at ECU. So we'll see! I've got my fingers crossed for that one! I've also played the trumpet for going on 6 years, but this year I won't be able to take band due to my heavy schedule with getting ready for college and all. I'm also a singer. |

The only bad thing is that I have had to lie about his age to my dad.. and that's not kosher. I would really like a nice guy that is into the things I am (not specifically guard, or band) but somebody who won't mind me being at rehersals, and understand that I don't have much of a life.. but will stick by me and be there for me. Someone I can talk to, and someone I can stand to be around for more than 10 minutes at a time. Looks aren't all that important, but it's always nice.
