Hi Erin: You do not know me, and I have seen you a couple of times at Church. I deeply enjoyed your experience [the story about your encounter with Jesus on December 24], for many reasons, specially because it has made you full of what was lacked for you to resist the trip on Earth HE planned since the beginning, in order not only to save your soul and of your beloved ones, but also of some people, far away from you in space and time, whom you may not know, but who were, are already, and will be receiving the blessing from the way you are assuming the Will of God in your life. Why your purgatory was so short little one? Because you were given 2 gifts in regards to it, to leave yours on Earth, and also to leave it for others in part, like the people I mentioned before. Maybe it sounds different for you, but I wish I were you girl. The only plans that are important are the ones we do for Heaven. Yes, fyi, I am married and I have a wife who is expecting, and a daughter and there are lots of things in earthly terms we wish to accomplish, but the only one that really matters to me is Heaven. Applying what Saint Therese of the Little Child one day said to her mother, to my beloved ones, I write: "I wish they'd die, so that they could enjoy God for the eternity", and I mean to. What I would like to die, and what about my family, who's going to take care of them and who is going to raise my children? Well, if I believe in God, I can't think that I am going to do better than Him, can I?. He will eternally do better and He will take care of everything as HE always does. We need truth, and that is what we try to tell our daughter all the time. A couple of times a week, we make her remember that her mother is the Virgin Mary and her father is God, and that we are only brothers in a big big family. That to us it was given the responsibility of preparing her for Heaven for as long as HE wants. If I do not see things that way, there is no reason for me to recite the Hail, Holy Queen, specially ( ... To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears ... and after this our exile ... ), Why? Because this is an exile for me. I am not Columbian or Canadian citizen, I am Citizen of Heaven and I want to get back Home!!! However, until HE decides that it is time for me to get back Home, I should apply to myself this beautiful words HE said to a Holy Soul that I want to share with you and the rest of the people who read this message: "Listen, my daughter, my wisdom has means and ways which man ignores, such that he is obliged to lower his forehead and adore it in mute silence; and it is not up to him to dictate to Me the laws, whom I should choose and the appropriate time, which my goodness disposes." to go "home". I actually saw my physical body as I went up, and I saw through the walls, through the roof, and had the most peaceful, beautiful, indescribable feeling. When I saw my children who were very young then, I asked to be allowed to go back because they needed me to take care of them. I was let go and I went back to my body. Jim mentioned that you had an encounter with our Blessed Lord. Well I'm a convert to Catholicism having joined the church in 1962. But I too feel that I had and inner encounter with the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1960 and to my mind, it was Mary who directed my footsteps to the Catholic Church. All my life I had a special devotion to the Virgin Mary even when I was a member of the United Church for 35 years. But I'm grateful and praise God because now all my family are members of the Catholic Chuch.

Sorry it’s taken me so long to write here. I have started to write before but couldn’t find quite the right words. Not that these will be much better! I wanted to say how incredibly proud I am of you. You’ve always been so modest and humble in all the successes that you have known in life. And I am humbled by your incredible strength, courage and Faith as you’ve battled this terrible disease. Your good humour, instead of bitterness. God has given you so many gifts, and you’ve made such great use of them. You’ve touched so many, many lives. I can remember meeting you for the first time, under the golden sunshine of a long ago California summer. It seems a blink of an eye ago, trying (unsuccessfully) to stop you from eating sand at Huntington Beach. You always have had such a strong will! I am so sorry to hear your story. I am not much older than you and I know what you are going through is not easy and very hard to deal with. I just lost my son Zachary to Hepatoblastoma. Its a rare liver tumor that spread to his lungs and splean..He passed away on October 20th, 2002. He would have turned 3 on Thanksgiving. So in a parents eyes I know what you are going through..But from the sounds of it, you are so strong. You have a different agle on this. And thats rare. I give you credit for having that. I bet your parents are very proud of you. Let them know every day that you love them and how grateful you are to having them. Because as a parent going through this, it's not easy on them either. It is extremely hard to watch your children go through this horrible thing and knowing there is nothing that they can do to heal you. My son never was able to tell me that he loved me and that I did everything I could do to help him. And that is something that will haunt me for the rest of my life. Please forgive me for how I am writing. You just seem so strong and I don't know how you do it. I will pray to my little Zachary to watch over you. He has done a good job so far with all of his friends that have to fight this horrible battle. Please know that I will pray for you and your family. God bless you.
