| Comments: | The Crossroads Band will be entertaining at the Squire Creek Louisiana Peach Festival in Ruston, Louisiana, Friday night June 26th in Railroad Park beginning at 8 p.m. Don't miss them! Admission is $5 for age 12 and up and $3 for ages 7-12; age 6 and under are free. Concessions will be available. The Peach Festival is one of the longest-running festivals in Louisiana and fun for the entire family. It fatures more than 200 artisans and vendors, music, a parade, rodeo and cooking contests. Two tracks made it to air and the presenter has promised to cut the first hour of the programme (where your tracks were played) onto a CD for me. The program was all trad jazz, perhaps except for your tracks however, they are genuine Louisiana music, which was what that program was all about, with comments from me about New Orleans and Louisiana now and then. That kind of wide appeal is rare and you guys are awesome beyond any words I could put here. If I owned a club, you'd be headlining it every night I could get you, that's for sure. Everyone present said that it was the most beautiful rendition they had ever heard. I want to thank Tony. I also want to thank the rest of the Crossroads band for a great send off Saturday night at Boomtown. They did my favorite song (St. James) and Tony did his 2 saxes at once! Not only that but they dedicated it to me AND my Dad. My wife and I can not tell you enough how much you rock. |
