It has been very helpful. also I just read one of your featured comments, the christian person, and It totally pissed me off. any way one of my boyfriends friends said his mom was wiccan and she kills dogs or something so he was convinced he wouldnt like me, but I explained that that isnt what wicca was about, that it was more about the earth and nature and worshipping it not destroying it, and he said I was the first wiccan he met who didnt kill things for the religion,I told him those people werent really true wiccans. Am I right or what?!

 RE: seer@NP-duo-county.com PAGAN/NEO-PAGAN = Term used ot classify a group of religions WICCA = Name given to a particular religion within the pagan system. Just becuase your PAGAN/NEO-PAGAN does not make you WICCAN, there are many PAGAN/NEO-PAGAN systems which have nothing in common to WICCA. Maybe you should actualy learn what PAGAN/NEO-PAGAN really is before you try to state how close they are. Take for example budism, would you call budism similar to wicca jsut because they are both PAGAN belief systems? As the ring in questions is called "WICCA RING" i would think that any normal person would guess that it is for WICCA sites only, otherwise it would be titles PAGAN or something like that. To make such a stupid comment about PAGAN and WICCA being basicly the same shows your lack of education on the topic in which you are trying to profess so much knowledge.  Well Eldritch, I have to say I was rather disappointed by your terse response to my application for your web ring - "DENIED!!!" seems to indicate something short of the tolerance you profess to practice. Perhaps issues of control apply? I wasn't actually aware that being Pagan and being Wiccan were all that different - at least not in my 40 some years of experience on the Path. Perhaps your ring isn't actually suitable for a practioner of my maturity, so you may indeed have saved me some useless effort with your what seems to me to be an ill-reasoned response. So I do thank you for that. May you find whatever it is you actually seek, seems you're not quite there yet.

 Hi, it's me again, although it's been a while. Your site's as good as ever, keep up the good work! I've been a Wiccan for two years now an never regretted it, thanks so much for making me sure. Does anyon else have friends who are Christians and don't know your Wiccan? My friend is not only Christian, she is a very faithful christian, AND bith her parents are priests. I dont publisize my religion as i hate the criticism I have to take and the things I have to hear said about Wicca. I havn't told her, but I hate the fact that she just assumes I'm Christian.  To whom it may concern, I have read a number of comments and again I am just in shock and awe I expect the idiotic rantings of the Chi Rho (christian) sheep mentality but one third to half of the misconceptions the bible thumper automitons get is from uninformed attention seekers calling themselves Pagan,Norse,Tuetonic,Druid,Enochian or what have you. I read many pages of comments and most of it was nothing more than people caught in a fad, what is popular this week to be all unique and different Cripes, anyone with a henna tattoo and a spice rack thinks they walk between worlds Please all neophytes,curious cowans,those who change their convictions as often as their hair-styles do yourselves and the serious practioners a favor 1)find your path(one that calls to your very soul) 2)research and meditate upon your Pantheon find your main God and Goddess (ones that hold the attributtes you hold dear and be an example for)3) make your associations with your God and Goddess 4)be an expert of your path and have a good knowlege of other paths 5)there are 13 goals of a witch for a reason, follow them 6) until you are an advanced first degree or are ready to become second degree (priesthood) your focus should not be on a book of shadows yet most think it is the first thing to do and can't even tell someone the associations or correspondences or even call the corners if you don't know the attributtes of the elements you cetainly don't need to be creating a book of shadows; if you feel so inspired start with a book of mirrors. I have given seminars,had countless information addresses to individuals and groups to inform or to dispel myths about the new way of life and it is just that it should encompass all that you do otherwise it is just a hobby or fad Please don't give the narrow-minded sheep Chi-Rhos any more ammunition example: a cult is defined by fanaticism of the followers,control of those followers,(by doctine or fear) and the veneration of the human leader Guess what christianity is a cult and Paganism and Witchcraft are not! All I am asking is to please be informed and well read when dealing with the cowans and be an example to your Coven,Grove,Circle,Grotto or what have you and above all be an example to your God and Goddess!
