| Comments: | Upon seing the movie for Fellowship of the Ring late 2002, I was completely moved. Especially by Arwen. I saw it too close to Christmas to ask to get it for a gift. So the day after I begged for someone to take me to the store to buy it. At that point, The Two Towers was already in theaters, so I went to see it as soon as I could. I was very moved by this film, and felt a strange yet powerful hatred toward Eowyn, and sadness for Arwen. I like that there is a site made for Arwen, to celebrate what she went through in the world of J.R.R. Tolkien, for her love of Aragorn and her efforts in saving Frodo and Middle Earth. She was powerful, and although I have not yet read the books of Lord of the Rings, and do not know yet what becomes of Arwen or Aragorn, I am anxious to find out, and certainly plan on reading these books soon. Thanks to the creators of this site, it is well appreciated. By myself at least. |
