| Comments: | My wife is a Nica, and we plan to retire their in 7 or 8 years. She goes back almost every year, me every 2 or 3. If folks like volcanoes, Masaya is a must see. It is not so impressive until you get up high, and see dozens of volcanic crater rims that have swallowed up the area, and had more grow out. 100's of parrots live in empty steam vents of some of the bigger volcanoes. Not the biggest volcano, but the most interesting I am aware of. Gotta drive to the high points ! |

| Comments: | I think you've done an amazing job with this website. Where in the world did you get so much information? Especially the satellite images which i found to be pretty neat. I agree with you on the fact that a lot of people (both Nicas and non-Nicas) talk very negative about Nicaragua, and that's primarily because they really haven't experienced it. Nicaragua is beautiful and believe me this is coming from a girl that was ONLY born there. My parents moved to Costa Rica (like a lot of other Nicas) when I was 6 months old, and then when I was 6 years old I came to the U.S. I visited once when I was about 5 but as you can imagine, I don't remember much and then I visited again when I was about 21 and let me tell you, now I'm addicted. I go back there at least once a year if not more. I completely love it and would love to live there and raise my children there. Once again congrats on this wonderful website! You definately are a true PINOLERO! |
