| Comments: | hi! i jus wanted to say wot a a great explanation of the Akita. Nobody can really understand an Akita until they have 1...or 2. They are the greatest most loyal dog, they will follow you from the kitchen to the toilet, from the toilet to the lounge room, from the loungeroom to the front door where you will say goodbye and then they will bravely gaurd the house until you (and only you) arive home. my mother found that out the "hard way" when she came over one day when i wasnt home and met the nasty bark of my Akita saying "YOU CANT COME HERE NOW BECAUSE ROB ISNT HOME!!" although shed been around 'Grizzly' before id always been there but when i wasnt home he wouldnt let you on my property. He would always hug me when i got home and when i say hug i mean literally with both of his arms.
Sadly a cat cat dared venture in our yard, which Grizzly quickly disposed of in his quiet stalking way (Akitas always aproach quietly and DO NOT bark unless its is necessary ) This led to him being classed as 'dangerous' and he was subsequently put down. He was the greatest spirit ive ever known, forever patient and ready. love you my ""griddly boy"" |
